This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of August, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [1000].

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 4:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1000] - this we have had before. Now, the general conditions - as we find them in the system - show much improvement in many ways from that as we have had many times before. There needs be kept those of the proper attitudes of self, mentally, physically, spiritually. Keep the eliminations as may prevent toxins from forming in the system, and taking care of all of the excretory system will keep the nearer balance of the body. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) What causes bearing down or pressure in lower spine when lying down? (A) This, as has been given as once before, the pressure as exists in the coccyx itself, and from the trouble as has existed in the lower end of the colon itself and through the eliminating channels. It would be well were this SPRUNG considerable, so that the pressure is taken off in the lower coccyx region.

3. (Q) Give cause and treatment for aching in fingers. (A) When they get mashed, or hurt, they will ache! but those conditions as exist are from the improper ELIMINATIONS in the system, from the strain as comes most from the attitudes or distresses from such conditions, than from purely physical forces, save when injured or hurt. These have been - one, particularly - mashed - the middle. This has hurt, and does - in the same manner as through sympathy - act upon the general system.

4. (Q) What causes distended stomach and formation of gases? (A) Acidity. This comes from the condition as exists in the lower portion, or in the pyloric portion of stomach proper.

5. (Q) Why does battery have disturbing effect on stomach? (A) This is, then, changed to other centers for its attachments - that will change the vibrations, see? In the attachments of all batteries, these should be centralized as to those centers from which disturbances radiate, as in those from those pressures to head - may be either in the 1st or 2nd cervical, or just between the eyes, or top of the head, and the lower portion of the system. Those from the stomach would come, then, to those of the 4th or 5th dorsal center, and to the extremities. These, then, will cause a change in the current forces in system, save where they are outlined, of course, for specific centers for specific conditions.

6. (Q) Where should they be attached for this body? (A) The 4th dorsal center and the extremities.

7. (Q) Should body now consider having teeth cleaned and looked after? (A) First we would use, for at least two to three weeks, those of the properties of Ipsab - thoroughly rubbed with those of a soft cloth or cotton, with finger, rubbing and massaging gum and cleaning off. These, as we find, will be the best in the present. Do not attempt to have any DENTAL work done in the mouth as yet. We are through with these readings.
