Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - [1001] - this we have had before. Now, in many ways and respects we find the conditions on the improve. In meeting self, in becoming acquainted with the real self, and that necessary attitude the body must take as to conform self and self’s development for the meeting of the conditions in the physical forces, will the body be able to take that mental attitude and stand as will ENABLE the administrations of outside influences to have the greatest effect upon the physical body. In the administering of curative forces in a physical body, many conditions arise wherein those administering same come to the point to be at a loss as to WHY there is not the responses as is UNDERSTOOD, or have been taught to, feeling to, expect. The changes or alterations are very individual, especially when meeting the conditions as exist from such a disorder as an improper pulsation through the nerve system, or in that state where there may be termed that the governor’s belt of the nervous system slips off. This, as has been seen and given, is as a result of much BUILDED, INNATELY, that the INDIVIDUAL MEETS - and either OVERCOMES, through the activity of self, or succumbs to and allows same to control THEIR physical activities. Be patient. Be persistent. Keep the mind right. Develop nominally, normally. Do not become eccentric, or do not become one-sided in any studies of the physical body or the SURROUNDINGS of the self - whether pertaining to those of mercenary, of material, of physical, or mental conditions - but in an eyesingleness of purpose to know self, conquer self, and make self obey the dictates of its own mind - THIS will bring to the body that heritage, that place that IT may occupy; for the mental abilities, the mental PROCLIVITIES of the body are ABOVE NORMAL in many ways. Will one use them or abuse them? Will one demand that others take the position as subservient to, or will one let self become subservient to the idiosyncrasies of the inner man? Ready for questions.

  2. (Q) Are there any organic disturbances with this body? (A) Not as we find at present.

  3. (Q) Is body obtaining better control of self and how can he continue in that respect? (A) That’s just been given. Keep on doing that! We are through for the present.
