This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of February, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1010], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1010]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, when all conditions are taken into consideration, and those influences as have been about the body, the body is very good considering all of these.
-
And as we find the body should keep in very good condition, all things considered, if there will be the precautions taken as are known and of which the body has been warned; that is, respecting the manner in which the eliminations should be kept, especially relative to the liver and gall duct disturbance - and naturally conditions that have arisen, do arise from the excess amount of poisons or drosses that have been left in the system from the old disturbances there.
-
We would keep these, with the use of the Appliance as has been given. Keep this charged with the renewed solutions, on time; keeping the connections well in hand.
-
Also we would keep the adjustments and massages.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Is the mole over liver malignant, and what must I do for it? (A) This as we find is not malignant. While the conditions of the body do not permit of the body’s undergoing an anaesthesia for the removal, this might be done by local anaesthesia or local application - if it is chosen by the body to be removed.
For if it is tampered with, by rubbings or the applications that cause a growth, it may become so deep-seated as to cause a great deal more disturbance.
But the better way is to use the applications of those things that make for the retarding of its growth; as the combination of equal portions of Mutton Suet, Turpentine and Camphor - not upon the area itself but the surrounding area, or surrounding portions. This gently massaged will tend to retard or keep down irritation and retard any tendency for growth; and gradually make for easing. Yet it may be removed by operative measures if so chosen - or if it becomes too much inflamed. Otherwise we would leave it as it is, using those conditions as indicated.
- (Q) What must I do for abnormal high heart beat? (A) Keep the drosses from the colon, and those tendencies for the pressure to cause undue circulation from the dilation as exists, as has been given, in portions of the colon.
Use enemas rather than cathartics, and have same body-temperature with the Soda, the Salt, as has been given for the body. This is the better preventative.
And then, naturally, the stimulation of those segments along the cerebrospinal system from which drainages may be set up, or from which the organs of elimination receive their impulse from cerebrospinal circulation - these stimulated for eliminations will also ease this pressure. These may be found to be of more specific help if there is an equal pressure held upon the segment between the last dorsal and the first lumbar and the third and fourth dorsal center. A pressure held there, one on the left, one on the right side of the cerebrospinal column, will tend to ease or drain the system and to make the body become not numb but the constant awareness as felt through the abdominal area, the constant tendency for the expectancy of shortness of breath and the quick pulsation will be found to be near normal during such times. This then should be as a part of the applications when the neuropathic or chiropractic adjustments are made, and will be most beneficial. They must be held at the same time, the body prone.
- (Q) Has ulcer near groin in right side healed? (A) Almost, and we would keep the same properties - the Ash, the Iodex, as has been indicated, for this condition.
Do not overtax by too strenuous an exercise, but be careful, be temperate in all things. This means the diet and the thoughts and the activity and the exercise, and all.
Do these as we have seen indicated, and we will find the better conditions for this body, [1010].
- We are through for the present.

R1. 2/25/37 She wired for 1112-5 for husband.
R2. 3/3/37 “I have escaped the flu this winter.”
R3. 3/18/37 “I have quit the electrical appliance for a while. Have used it almost continuously for a year. Am feeling as good as can be expected, as you say, for age of disease and body.”
R4. 4/19/37 Mr. Cayce there is a dark red bump bigger that a pea on my right wrist top side. Looks like it is festered in center but is not. Have applied Atomidine lots & black salve, but it does nothing to it. Have a small bump on right breast also. One on breast for about 3 mo. and wrist 2 months. Am afraid it might be malignant, for it will not disappear, but slowly growing.
Don’t go to any extra trouble. Just ans. the question, is it malignant, and what to do for it. Am feeling quite well, but get nauseated for a few minutes at a time. Maybe twenty times in 24 hrs, and that is a symptom you know. Am rushed to death [what?] with so much charity. Will send more money soon as can - to carry on the wonderful work you are doing.
Much love to all. (I am here all the time nearly.)
R5. 4/22/37 EC’s letter to Mrs. [1010]:
Dear Mother [1010]
Glad to have yours of 19th and to know Mr. [1112] is coming along nicely, just hope he keeps on the improve and is soon feeling his normal self again.
As for those places Mother [1010], I think from what has been given several times you will find this will help and possibly remove them entirely. Mix - equal parts Mutton Suet, Spirits of Camphor, spirits of turpentine and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Heat the Suet to be sure and while still liquid add the other ingredients in order named. About twice a day - morning and evening massage gently the places, and around them, following the nerves to their juncture. With the solution will have to stir it together each time, but not make new quantity each time to be sure. Think you will find this is great.
Just came back from a very sad mission. My Father was buried last Tuesday a week. While we knew the end was at hand, we are never ready to give up our loved ones. He was 84, and had not been real well for several years, tho very active until a few months ago. He was with my sister in Nashville, Tenn. when it happened, tho he has made his home with me for several years. Will miss him, as he has been an inspiration for a long time to me.
Thanks Mother [1010] for letting me hear. Write when ever you can, and be sure and let me know about the ointment. If [it] doesn’t work will ask something about it in reading.
With love and best wishes from all
Sincerely [signed] Edgar Cayce
