EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1045].

In some respects conditions appear to be not so good. As we find, unless there are greater precautions taken in the diet and in the manner of the exercise, there will again occur a hemorrhage; FROM those conditions that have set about in the lung area or the affected portions.

But when this does occur, or if there will be taken more of the Animated Ash WITH the Ultra-violet ray, these will heal; for it will loosen sufficient of the oxygen.

And continue more often, not too long at a time, the use of the inhalations; that they may HEAL those areas in the lung that make for such distresses from the breaking of tissue, in the throat and in the lung.

The throat, of course, is more irritated in the present. Hence we find that the Ash here - an eighth of a grain morning and evening, followed by the ultra-violet for a minute - would make for a helpful condition.

The massage should be general and, as indicated, keep the liver and the kidneys active; for with the drosses, or the natural excess of the quantity of toxic forces that are to be thrown out, do not let these become more and more involved.

Stimulate, then, in the massage, at the 9th dorsal and the 4th lumbar, gently - but in a rotary nature, and in those specific centers. The lower portion of the 9th dorsal, the whole of the 4th lumbar or the lumbar axis. This will rest the body, it will also prevent the PRESSURE FROM the tendency for the dilation from the coughing of the stomach to press upon the diaphragm.

These will be the helpful conditions in the present.

Do that.

Twice a day (this may be wired) the Ash, one-eighth of a grain; the light, ultra-violet, one minute, following the giving of the Ash - three to five minutes afterward. Stimulate the 9th dorsal, the 4th lumbar, GENTLY, with the massage. Use the inhalations of the brandy for the searing or for the cleansing of those conditions in throat and lung.

(Q) What should be done for the extreme weakness? (A) Massaging with pure grain alcohol will give strength as well as keep down temperature. This should be massaged over the abdomen, even to the lower portion of the lung area itself, and across the spine - from the lumbar area to about the 4th dorsal area.

(Q) Regarding the diet, is there any food that should be eliminated from the present diet? (A) Keep that as has been indicated; but be very mindful we do not include sweets. THIS has been included, which has been harmful.

(Q) Anything else to do for the coughing? (A) Just that as indicated. This may produce - by this coughing - and by this irritation - a hemorrhage. But this should not cause too great an anxiety, so long as it can be controlled.

R1. 4/27/36 [1100]‘s letter: “Do not know whether my brother has wired you or not but my sister-in-law passed on last evening. I received the check reading Sat. and that was the first I knew about the hemorrhage and I also realized that things did not look so well even tho we are expecting it, death always comes as a surprise. I am sure had she adhered strictly to the diet, at least she would have had a better chance to live.”
