This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of April, 1928, in accordance with request made by her son, [900].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 12:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the relief and improvement of same.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before.

  3. Now, we find in many ways the body is improved. In others the body is more at dis-ease than when we had these conditions before. We find much of the inflammation has become centralized, or localized, and continued - as it were - through the system. This condition - had it been taken care of as given, we would not have the results at present; for were those poisons removed, as given they should be through the enemas, there would NOT be the inflammation in the descending colon and the portions of body as at present. As we find, though, these conditions should be met as exist, but care should be taken that that as is given is adhered to, would the body receive information through these sources.

  4. In meeting conditions at the present, we find were the applications of the salve (Tim) or ointment, as has been given [by the son] for this body, applied - WITH the manipulation necessary to the sacral and lower portions of the cerebro-spinal system applied, there would be relief.

  5. Ice may be applied, or packs may be applied to those parts protruding, and this will bring relief for the body. Do NOT attempt to operate under existent conditions. The blood supply is not in a proper condition for coagulation to take place in its proper way and manner.

  6. Then, apply that ointment as has been given, and manipulation sufficient to relax the system in this special portion of body, and the application of ice or pack to relieve exposed parts. Do that. Ready for questions. (After pause) We are through with this reading.
