This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of June, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1100], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Aline Andrews, Irene Riggs and Hazel King.]

Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Albany, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1100]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, there are rather those tendencies for acute congestion from cold and the pressure upon the circulatory forces of the body.

  3. We would not change a great deal from the general manipulations that have been given, or that have been administered to the body, but we would add these:

  4. Use the deep electrically driven vibrator between the shoulders and over the lumbar plexus, or the 4th lumbar. This will make for a great deal of change for the body, with the general manipulations. Give this vibration over each center, as indicated; that is, the lumbar plexus and the brachial plexus - for at least five to eight minutes on each one, until it vibrates very thoroughly. These vibrations from the electrically driven vibrator, you see, would be given or taken whether the manipulations are given or not. At least every day, or twice a day is not too much - but still keep the manipulations.

  5. To assist in removing the tendencies for the slowed circulation through the areas, just after the use of the vibrator we would massage into each area just what the body will absorb of an equal combination of Mutton Suet, Turpentine and Camphor.

  6. Do that.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) What causes and what should be done for numbness in feet? (A) The vibrations for the lumbar plexus, from which the locomotary centers receive their impulse. These centers released, not only by the vibration but by the rubs that will absorb by the bodily forces themselves, will relieve these conditions.

  9. (Q) What causes the catch in back under right shoulder? (A) As indicated, a slowing of the circulation through the areas indicated.

From congestion.

Of course, step up the eliminations.

  1. (Q) Any further advice? (A) These we would do, as has been indicated.

  2. We are through with this Reading.
