Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body, [1127].
-
As we find, while conditions are very serious and the disturbances have advanced to a state where there is a great deal of misery, uneasiness, inability for the body to gain its breath or to breathe deeply, these are natural results or effects of this insidious force that arises from first an unbalancing of the elements in the body-physical - or the relationships or ratio of elements that go to make for the proper carrying on of nerve impulse and circulatory forces - or an equal balance between iodine effects and calcium effects upon the system.
-
Hence we have a creeping paresis, or an indeterminate number of the infectious forces that arise from the lack of activity produced by these elements in the blood circulation.
-
Then an injury also as combined with same makes for the disturbance.
-
These, as we find, may be aided; or some relief brought. And if the body responds through the MENTAL influences as with the physical reactions, we may bring some help and relief for the body.
-
First we would begin with Calcidin in minute quantities, but taken three or four times a day. Best that this be dissolved and kept warm. Dissolve about a grain in an ounce of water and keep warm. This would be about the quantity to be taken during a day, but it would be taken just a little at the time; for we wish or desire - or there should be - the reaction not only from the calcium but from the iodine also in the system.
-
Then, to act together with the reactions to the assimilating system, we would have the neuropathic massage - which would be helpful. But when such massages are given, we would use a combination of oils prepared in this manner:
-
To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil as the base, add - in the order named:
Kerosene Oil…1 ounce, Camphor…Gum Camphor, but dissolved…1/2 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood…1/2 ounce, Oil of Pine Needles…1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras…1/4 ounce.
To be sure, when standing these will tend to separate. When these are to be used, (once or twice a day in the beginning) shake together and pour a quantity into an open container - but keep away from the fire, of course; using each time just what will be massaged into the body. Massage or work from the body, not toward the body. Begin at the base of the brain and work in a circular motion down either side of the cerebrospinal system. When coming to the brachial center, let the massage extend also around the upper portion of the rib - or to those centers that come to the central portion, or to the sternum, or to the frontal portion in the lung area itself. When coming to the 9th dorsal, then extend the massage - of course - around that line about the body, or the lower portion of the diaphragm area. Also at the 4th lumbar center, let it extend to those edges above the hip bone to the frontal part. Then carry on through to the feet, just what the body will absorb of the solution.
-
Do that.
-
In the diet keep to those things that cause less and less of the gas to form in the digestive system, through a very depleted or very ineffective activity of a peristaltic movement. Hence use green or fresh vegetables, fruit juices, vegetable juices prepared in their own salts - these would be better for the body. Hence do not cook the vegetables together that are given the body, but separate - in Patapar Paper; or serve each one separate, and it will be found to be more helpful, more beneficial to the body.
-
If the body responds, we may be able to give further suggestions.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 3/16/36 Mrs. [1010]‘s son Dr. [1940]‘s letter, also a neuropath: “Mother started this and asked me to finish it. She wants to thank you for sending the reading to Mr. [1127], and Mrs. […] will write you herself. Your instructions are being followed out exactly as given, but the paresis is gaining very fast. I myself can see no hope for him, but of course he has hopes that your prescriptions and the massages Mother is giving him will eventually bring him out of it. Instead of creeping paresis I would call it galloping paresis, as even in the month we have known him it has gained headway very definitely.”
R2. 3/23/36 Mrs. [1010]‘s letter: “Mr. [1127] passed away Friday 8 P.M., (3/20/36) I knew by your reading there wasn’t much hope, the case was so far advanced. Death commenced at the feet and crept up to the heart. When it reached that he was gone. I followed out your suggestions in full and he had such faith in the suggestions and me.”
Background
Background
B1. 3/8/36 Mrs. [1010]‘s letter: “I want to tell you about a case I have, the most pitiful case I ever had. He, Mr. [1127], has been under the care of three different doctors here - had him in hospital, Baugh’s Infirmary, until they got all the money he had. His wife works at … clothing store on small salary. Dr. Baugh heard of my work [neuropathic], so recommended me to Mr. [1127]. I went to see Dr. Baugh. He said, ‘Mrs. [1010], there isn’t a chance for Mr. [1127] to recover. He has atrophied muscles and ligaments, is perfectly helpless, can’t feed himself, it began in his feet, creeping up, his legs became useless, now his left arm, and can move his right only slightly.’
“Just he and his wife, lovely people, but have spent everything they have trying to find a cure. I am giving (free) a treatment every morning. Dr. Baugh said maybe my treatment (neuropathic) might help; have given him six. I do not see much if any improvement. I told them about you, and let her read the literature, but as they said they haven’t the $20, and they hope I can help him it is awful.
“Can you, and will you, give him a reading? It is the only chance he has for his life. Please do.”
Mon. A.M. 3/9/36 P.S. “Mr. [1127] had smothering spells yesterday, is growing worse; hope you will not be too late to help him to come back to normal.”
“Questions: Will this body be brought back to near normal or will he pass out soon?”
