This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of January, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1158], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [1158] and Mr. [1151].]

Time of Reading 4:45 to 4:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1158].

  3. As we find, conditions in a GENERAL manner show considerable improvement from that as we have had heretofore.

  4. There needs to be kept YET, as we find, those adjustments for the BALANCING of the system through the pelvis as well as through the axis in same.

  5. That there have been improvements is indicated, in that there is a better balance, a better activity throughout the system.

  6. We would then continue with such adjustments, with the regular activities as to make for a better coordination.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) As Dobbins has completed the five treatments advised in Dec. 11th Reading without getting suggested result, do you advise a few treatments from the Copeland Institute, Freeport, L.I. [DC’s, Ph.T.’s], or do you prefer uninterrupted continuance with Dobbins? (A) As just indicated, WE would keep these in the present, and the MANNER of making this correction here. While it has not loosened or removed the disturbance fully as was indicated that should be accomplished, this is because the condition has become more static than indicated in the first. We would take at least five to six more such adjustments?

  9. (Q) Please give more specific details as to the manner, methods and technique of treatments desired.

(A) The technique that has been used here is good. We would only relax the body more before attempting to make the adjustments, see? Then we will find there will be a better movement, and better results may be obtained through the correct movements.

  1. (Q) What method would be suggested to relax the body more? (A) The wet, not dry, heat.

  2. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) As we find, the whole of the attitude of the body, the whole of the general condition shows an improvement. Then, it would be like saying - to make general suggestions - or telling the rose to be sweet, or to be more beautiful.

Keep that thou hast. Use it.

  1. We are through for the present.
