This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 9th day of June, 1924, in accordance with request made by her daughter, Mrs. [1690].

1. EC: Now, while the body is not feeling as good at the present time as it has for some days back, yet the general condition throughout the whole system is very much improved.

2. The condition as arises at the present time is produced by the toxins as absorbed in the system from the condition in intestinal tract and from the lack of the digestion, and from the condition produced in the system by foods allowing to be in the system so long without digestion taking place. This produces the pressure, the uncomfortable condition through the lower portion of stomach and intestines.

3. The system needs only to keep those conditions as have been outlined for same. At the present time and under the conditions as exist at the present time, the body needs to have high injections of Usoline or of those oils necessary to produce elimination through the intestinal tract. Keep those conditions up. Beware of overloading the stomach, using those foods as outlined, and pre-digested and cereal, with the formation that gives the system that glueten [gluten] and protein necessary to rebuild in the blood supply and give nourishment and nutriment to the organs that need the replenishing at this time, with the same conditions kept in the system, making the corrections necessary in the spinal column, where ligaments and nerve systems have been impinioned.

4. Do that. We will bring the best for this body.

R1. 7/16/24 [1181]‘s letter to EC: “Since you diagnosed my case about two months ago I have been taking the treatments as you advised and I certainly have been benefited. My stomach and bowels feel so much better and I do not suffer with those awful pains in my back as I did before taking the treatments, and I know I am improving all the time. I do hope I can continue to follow your advice and I believe I will soon be enjoying better health. I have so much faith in your work and I do hope many others may be benefited as I have been. I will let you hear from me again.”

R2. 8/4/26 Another daughter’s letter: ”…I have just come back to … after spending my 2 weeks vacation with the folk at home … Of course I have had letters from them telling me of the wonderful prescribing you have done for my dear Mother [1181] and […] [[1690]‘s dear children], also remember what you did for [5086], years ago. While at … [[1690]‘s] I had the chance and pleasure of reading the diagnosis of their cases. I think it is more than wonderful, I just don’t know how to express it, but you certainly have been as we think the saving of our dear Mother.
