  2. As we find, only the stimulation by massage and by the keeping better eliminations by the use of enemas when not tiring the body, and keeping such from producing smothering spells, may aid.

  3. Keep the body as quiet as is practical, to be sure.

  4. For there is not a great deal of strength or vitality to build upon.

  5. We would not change, then, other than the massage and the enemas occasionally.

  6. This may be given at home. Rub with a little oil or cocoa butter, especially the limbs.

  7. (Q) What heart trouble do you find? (A) Just a slowing through the lack of sufficient blood supply, and pressures from the gradual slumping as it were towards the left side.

  8. (Q) What can be done to prevent the severe attacks? (A) As indicated, it is the natural course of the body condition.

  9. (Q) What will relieve the gas? (A) As indicated.

  10. (Q) What would you suggest to give strength? (A) Beef juices, very often, but very little at a time.
