-
EC: Yes, we have the body, [1185].
-
Now, as we find, rather would there be warnings as respecting disturbing conditions that exist. For unless these are corrected we would find there will sooner or later become a disturbing condition that will be hard to be dealt with.
-
The relieving in the pressure now would change and bring about conditions in the physical forces of the body that would relieve the body from distresses that are apparently of a minor nature in the present.
-
But these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1185] we are speaking of:
-
IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find with little disturbance save when there are the nominal periods of the eliminations through drosses from the system, or at the menstrual periods; then through the very disturbance there this becomes a distress throughout the system. And there are periods when from these there is a very great disturbance in the complexion, in those conditions that apparently show in a condition through a rash in portions of the body.
-
IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find these are the greater disturbances. While these now make for only irritations, or periods when unrest or uneasiness comes, at other period there are disturbances with the digestive system, other periods when there are the headaches and the heaviness across the small portion of the spinal system, or through the lumbar and the lower portion of the kidney area. If these continued to exist, with irritation, with congestion that may arise, these would become more and more localized and a greater disturbance, or even the formation through the organs or activities of the genital organs might become an ovarian disturbance that would be hard to deal with - or along the Fallopian tubes themselves. For at times these show congestion.
-
IN THE VERY FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as we find, there have been through those periods of gestation, or the end of these - or at childbirth, an adherence of the organs of the pelvis; so that the uterus and the tubes themselves are PULLED to the side, and thus produce at these periods the disturbing conditions, as well as those conditions that arise of a disagreeable experience at those periods of coalition [coition].
-
These arise from those conditions, and as we find these would require that not so much of operative forces be had, yet periods of the LOCAL attention of packing and straightening the uterus or the tubes themselves; by such measures that there may be less of this reaction from the adherences, or breaking up of these, and that there may be the periods when there is less stress upon the nerve system, and greater activity throughout the whole of the system for normalcy.
-
These are the disturbing factors as we find with this body in the present.
-
Those corrections, then, we would have through a gynecologist that would make for the correcting of the adherences of the conditions existent that may bring disturbing factors unless they are corrected.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) How is it possible for her to become pregnant? (A) By corrections, as indicated.
-
(Q) What can be done to effect a cure for her frequent backache? (A) Relieve those conditions that cause same, by removing those pressures and those conditions with the pelvic organs, and we would find we would thus remove the causes and the backache, as well as those nervous conditions, as well as those conditions as has been shown that arise through the nerve system from these disturbances with this body.
Do that.
- We are through for the present.

Dear Mr. Cayce: Reading June 3, 1936
In accordance with above Reading and suggestions contained therein, I called on a Dr. James King, probably the best known Gynecologist in the City, and would like to report his findings as follows:
Dr. King was very sympathetic, although I did not give him the exact source of my information. After making a thorough examination he told me that there was no way of seeing or feeling the conditions as found in the reading, although he conceded that such might be the case, in fact, he in no way expressed himself as being doubtful of this internal condition, yet as it could not be felt or seen there was no way it could be treated. He inserted a ring and asked me to return in a month; he also advised against any surgery, in fact strongly advised allowing anyone to influence me in favor of surgery - only as a last resource - although he, himself, is a well known surgeon in these cases.
As a result of the above, I am somewhat puzzled as to what, if any, further treatment could be advised, and would be thankful to you for your further advice or suggestions on my case.
Thanking you for your interest, with kindest regards from my family,
Sincerely yours, [1185]
R2. 7/4/36 EC’s letter to [1185]:
Dear Mrs. [1185]:
Have yours of the 26th and not what you have to say as to the Dr’s report upon examination. I would make this suggestion, as you note the reading says not an operation, now but unless corrections are made may lead to such.
Then why not see a good osteopath that will make the corrections suggested in the lower portions of the spine, and see if this does not relieve the whole situation - would suggest you see one - let them make a examination Osteopathically, and if they do not make some suggestion for the correction, will be glad to take another reading and see what it has to offer. Am sure from the experiences we have had with such cases this can be done and relieve you of a great deal of anxiety and make for better conditions all round.
Try this and know we want to help if possible your getting help.
Sincerely, [signed] Edgar Cayce
