GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: [After repeating the suggestion in an undertone] Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
-
As we find, there are those effects of an acute condition with the glands of the throat, the mammary glands, and the Eustachian tube - and ears.
-
These, as we find, produce temperature, and irritation, upsetting of the appetite and the like.
-
Necessary to keep the body quiet, and to prevent - especially - the getting of the feet wet. This does not mean not taking a bath, but do not get out of doors or in the open, see?
-
Then a massage along the back of the neck, between the shoulders, with Minit-Rub, would be given following a thorough massage of the same areas with an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Turpentine and Camphor - this between the shoulders and back of neck, especially. Put the Mutton Tallow on first, you see, then the Minit-Rub; else it would be too hot.
-
Around the neck or throat or around the ears massage with a rag or flannel dipped in kerosene, all the body will absorb - of evening. Well to tie such a rag (but this not flannel, rather gauze with kerosene on same), and then a cotton cloth over same, about the throat and the ears.
-
This, with keeping good eliminations, keeping the body quiet and the massage (which may be given at least twice a day), should better the condition.
-
(Q) Any particular diet? (A) That which is body-building and is agreeable, but not too much sweets - and of course NO acids.
-
We are through for the present.
