This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of February, 1937,in accordance with request made by the father - Mr. [391], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1208], present in this room; this we have had before.

2. There are many changes in the physical forces of the body. These as we find in the main are very good. There is the normal development of the body, the mind of the body.

3. In the present there are those disturbances from too much of fats that have caused - from feedings an acidity in the system.

4. We would give about once a day one to two drops of Milk of Bismuth.

5. Then once every other day give one to two drops of Glyco-Thymoline.

6. Necessary, to be sure, that there be given the Castoria for the elimination of the absorption of the conditions that upset the stomach; that the poisons and the absorptions may be eliminated through alimentary canal.

7. While we find that the present preparation of the milk is very good, we would add to each bottleful, before being given, two to three drops of Limewater. This will tend to sweeten same and make for that absorption of necessary elements for producing better teeth and make for a more easy activity of same in their general development.

8. These as we find are the conditions in the present.

9. On the portions where abrasions show (face and neck) use the Camphored Oil, but not too close to the eyes, to be sure, or where the body rubs same in eyes. But this will be helpful if applied in this manner.

11. (Q) Should the ounce and a half of Limewater still be used in the milk formula? (A) We would, as given, ADD the one to two drops of Limewater to each bottle of the present formula. This is extra for the conditions for better assimilation as related to the present formula.

12. (Q) Should the vegetable juices that have been given be continued? (A) Not so much of same, or overcrowding same - but sufficient, to be sure, that there are plenty of the bodily foods for developments.

13. (Q) Should the cereal be continued? (A) Strained oatmeal, as we find, would be better than some cereals that have been given! But this should be preferably that which is not cooked for just three minutes but three hours!

14. (Q) Should any other foods be added? (A) Better get the body straight first, before you add anything! It’s best to take from than to add, with the present disturbances!

15. (Q) Any advice to the parents regarding the early training? (A) As we find, as has been given for the temperament, there should never be any teasing or tormenting of the body. While it should be trained to know corrections, or else it will do the correcting - as has been indicated! but positiveness; but not in any manner to break the will or the mind of the body, see?

16. We are through for the present.

“He’s so active; climbs all over his little bed, and has some very peculiar mannerisms and ways of sleeping. He has two lower teeth and is now getting some upper ones. But we have to watch his digestion like a hawk; if he tastes anything not suggested in the Reading he gets upset. So many people are interested in him. They live in the … Apts., and families all over the building make the rounds every day to see him. If he cries, always someone comes in to see what’s the matter. He loves an audience, and he usually has one. I believe he’ll be able to sing well, as he has the strongest voice! Sometimes he practices just to see how loud he can holler - not mad or crying but just yelling because he thinks it’s smart. As they live in a one room apt. (bath, kitchenette, bed in the closet, etc.), you can imagine the confusion sometimes - but it’s fun just the same, and I really believe my brother an his wife are closer together in purpose than they’ve been since getting married. I prayed for that so hard, and I am very thankful.”
