This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 15th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by her sister, Mrs. [583], and Mr. [953].

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the Universe, and the Universal Forces, giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited, in the present life. Also the former appearances in the earth’s plane, giving time, place, and the name, and that in that life which built or retarded the development for the entity, giving the abilities of the present entity and to that which it may attain, and how.

2. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those Universal forces as relate to the earthly individual and the relation in present life with past, present and future, with those urges as are latent and manifest in the individual in the present earthly sojourn.

3. In the position then as the entity took in entering the present earth plane, we find under the influences of the Mars, Jupiter and Neptune, with adverse influences at times with Saturn, Mars and Venus.

4. Then we have one with these influences as manifest in the life in the present earth’s plane:

5. One with slow speech, thinks well, holds grudges, high of temper (controlled often), when adverse same becomes detrimental to the body mentally and physically. With adverse of Venus, with Mars and Saturn, we find the body prone to love unwisely in some directions. With the ennobling influences of Jupiter, these may be guided into proper and correct channels.

6. In making of friends, the body slow but sure in correct judgement of individuals of same sex. Of slow or uncertain in opposite sex. Why’s will be seen in influences in earthly sojourn.

7. In the ruling forces in the life, we find the entity should go far to the West and South and would find there the better conditions in the environment for development of the entity.

8. One who may develop especially along the lines of the statistician, and would be of wonderful abilities in gathering data for those of the occult or astrological students.

9. In the development of self’s body, the entity should take particular care as respects the condition of lungs and extremities.

11. In the one before this we find in the Norse country. When the peoples were coming as settlers to the new land, the entity among those of the peoples who came in the first groups and settled in the Cape Cod country. Then in the name of Laurel Golightly and the entity developed in that period, though of short duration in span of human existence after reaching the new land, yet giving much to the peoples that depended upon the entity for the guidance and directing of their future development in earth plane.

12. In the one before this we find in the country of the English peoples, when the King was beheaded by the rule of the people. The entity then the maid to the guard in the tower, where there was kept many of the royalty that were imprisoned occasionally. The entity then gave much discouragement to many peoples through the light manner in which the word was kept with those of opposite sex. Hence the meeting of same conditions reversed in present plane. In the name then of Hester Wyndott, and the entity then of beautiful figure and stature.

13. In the one before this we find in the Mongoloid country, when the peoples were given to seek the connection with other groups in the earth. The entity then in that of the Counsellor to the ruler, who was both magician and soothesayer for the peoples. The entity developed much in that plane, and in the name then of Istzkar. The entity gained the higher knowledge through association. Hence the innate desire to hear many various classes of subjects discussed in the present plane (and through these will find much money coming to the entity).

14. In the one before this we find in the Egyptian rule, when the second ruler that gave so much to the peoples in the law, order and in the manner of conduct before the peoples of the earth. The entity then in the Court of the ruler and a favorite of the Counsellor to the ruler, assisting in the worship in the Temple, especially in the dancing before the sacrificial offerings were made. Then in the name of Issuis, and the entity then developed much, gaining through this much of the present surroundings that has so much to do with the entity’s development in present earth’s plane.

Then, how to use that which lies as the innate forces, better that same be followed in the channel as outlined and to dwell in the Western shores, or South and West, and to gain the association of those interested in the study of such that the entity may give much through service to others, remembering that the better service [is] the better development toward that mark of higher calling as is set in Him. Be thou faithful unto the end, never faltering or wavering in the manner of acceptation of truth as is set in Him who may make all possible through the belief in Him, who gives life everlasting in Him.

”…About 3 years ago I placed a trunk in the Nelson Storage Co…and just a short time ago I asked to have it delivered but they were unable to locate it, are at a loss to say what became of it. This trunk contained all my mother’s [4928] handwork and which I value very highly, as she has since passed away, so you know how I would feel about losing it now

• so I will be very grateful for anything you can do for me…”

R2. 2/27/33 EC’s reply:

”…I do not feel that our experience in locating lost or stolen articles has been such as to justify us in saying we have found this to be a satisfactory phase of our work at all… I feel sufficient pressure could be brought to bear on the storage company that they would make such an effort in locating the trunk as to insure its return to you…”
