-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [128]. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions, and conditions that to the body are NORMAL, and abnormal to OTHER bodies, were this considered from the life in its continuity.
-
In the physical body, the conditions as existent may be assisted to where there is better coordination and co-activity of the body. The conditions have to do with that as happened to cellular forces, combined with conditions existent in the body as brought about that which diverted varied conditions and produced or brought about that of the orthopedic nature, and of the DEVELOPMENT of conditions that brought distraughtness in the activity of the extremity and to the portions of the body as affected through same.
-
Now, to meet the needs of these conditions:
-
There has been considered various applications. Some of these would be WELL to be considered. Some, there is no need of that extra suffering as would be brought for the body, without specific results.
-
That wherein the removal of those conditions where deposits have been made by the inroads of the bacilli, diverting the chemical reaction in the body, building in structural portion, THESE would aid MATERIALLY. Those that will give better activity to the body through the proper activity GIVEN in this direction, will bring the better results.
-
Those as would be by appliance that would carry with same a change in the vibratory forces of the system, would merely be adding to the HINDRANCES toward assisting the body.
-
Then, follow those wherein the changes may be made, and when these have been corrected - as to the removal of deposits - we would give that as would assist in building in the system the proper coordination of forces and vibratory conditions for the system, as to bring the best coordination in the physical being.
-
Do that. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Can Milton H. Berry of California cure this body? (A) Materially aid, but not cure entirely. He may only add that to the system that will give a bettered condition, not cure it entirely.
-
(Q) Who would be the best to - (A) An orthopedic specialist. We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 11/25/28 Father’s letter: “My son [128] when he was one and a half years old had the whooping cough and an Evanston doctor injected a shot of some kind of anti-whooping cough serum in each of his big toes and a few days later he was down with fever and the big medical consultants here said he had infantile paralysis as he was paralyzed in both legs. Since that time we have been all over the country in quest of orthopedic specialists, all of whom have fitted braces to brace the boy up and always the new one said that the braces which the previous one ordered were wrong, and so we have gone on, until we heard of this man Milton H. Berry of Calif. as effecting a great many cures, or at least helping a great deal and we decided to go to Calif. for a year and try his treatment which he suggested, after seeing my boy in Chicago, would take a year to cure and he advised not to lose any time, although he had a waiting list he considered my son’s case an emergency and would take him on at once - he said he believed he would eliminate one brace in a month and the other within 6 months by manipulation of muscles so as to equalize the body by breaking down certain over developed muscles and building up other weak ones. I heard of you through my brother-in-law [4657] whom you helped, and therefore the questions. In your reading you say that Berry can materially aid but not cure. Material aid would be a great help to [128]. Would you take him there?…
“My son [l28] is very much interested in all this, and although only 8 years old has a fine mentality and does really want to help in any way he can in getting better. He is in the 3rd grade - is up in his studies and walks to and from school - of course with the aid of braces. He is of normal size for his age and altogether a very happy little fellow.”
R2. 12/5/28 EC wrote advising that they take the boy to Milton H. Berry in Calif. and after he had worked on the case 5-6 months to let him (EC) give another reading, with Berry submitting questions, etc.
