This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of June, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [1308], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: We have the body - we have had the body before.

3. As we find, the lack of following those suggestions as indicated, and then the attempt to follow same - in a manner, at such a length of period, so many changes have come about, there has been an upsetting to the body.

4. First, there should be a thorough cleansing of the alimentary canal. Do this with broken doses, and given often, of Syrup of Figs (Colwell’s). Take half a teaspoonful every half hour until there is a good reaction. Not necessary that this be taken through the night, of course, when the body sleeps, but keep up sufficient length of time to flush the system. Let this act thoroughly.

5. Then have a colonic irrigation, or a high enema, to cleanse the alimentary canal, or to cleanse the body from those poisons and accumulations through the colon.

6. Then, when the Appliance is properly recharged, begin with the whole of the suggestions that have been indicated. And we will find better conditions for the body.

7. Do not overtax self, but do have the cleansing - even with those things that have been administered, would make it better. But do not do other things during the time the cleansing is taking place. Then rest at least a day between the thorough cleansing and the beginning of the use of the Appliance and the rest.

8. Do have the Appliance recharged and begin with it properly.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Are the leads to the Appliance being attached properly? (A) It is the solution that is incorrect. This should all be cleansed, and keep the leads very thoroughly cleansed or polished before and after using.

11. (Q) Should I take the herb medicine and mineral water, and the warm mineral baths at a sanatorium in the mountains, as suggested by an herb doctor at Jemison, Ala.? (A) These will be very good if it is the desire of the body. Not necessary, if these others are followed in the manner indicated. The cleansing of the system is that needed most, and by the properties indicated then being used.

12. We are through for the present.

“Enclosed please find check for $10 pursuant to wire to you today for an appointment for a check physical reading…

“I am not progressing as well as I think I should and I want to get away from the shots the doctor is giving me. Before taking up the treatment by the Appliance I wanted a check up or advice from you by reading. And, too, to know whether there have been any changes that would necessitate additional changes in treatment from those already given.”
