GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Now, we find there are abnormal conditions with this body. Many of these have been and are of long standing. They have to do, from the beginning, with the eliminations and the excesses as are become as drosses in portions of the system, producing the conditions in the extremities and in the locomotaries, and in various muscular portions of the body.
-
Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [133], we are speaking of. First:
-
The blood supply surcharged, or shows the effects of the poisons or toxins as are left in the system from time to time, by improper functioning of both liver and kidneys. Kidneys leaving then that toxin that causes the uremic poisoning, or the effect to the muscular forces and the nerve centers causing distress. The liver that affecting and disturbing the digestive system, and the stomach and eliminations, through mesenteric system.
-
IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, the body becomes overtaxed by these many strains, yet physically this becomes submerged in many ways.
-
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, these distresses affect same in the various manners, for little has been done, either through physical action or regard taken for the system and its physical condition through the diet for the body.
-
Now these conditions may be assisted and corrected, provided the care, the attention is given and persistence and consistent action as given is carried out.
-
First, we would prepare this for the body:
-
To one gallon of rain water, add 8 ounces of Fresh Wild Cherry Bark, see? Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one quart. Strain while warm. Dissolve 6 ounces of sugar in 6 ounces of hot water, see? Add to solution, or to the Wild Cherry Bark, and reduce to the quart again by simmering (not boiling). Then add to that, this:
Syrup of Sarsaparilla…2 ounces, Fluid Extract Yellow Dock Root…1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Stillingia…1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Polk Root…1/4 ounce, Iodide of Potassium…30 grains, Bromide of Potassium…20 grains, Elixia Calisaya…2 ounces, Essence of Peppermint…3 minums.
Shake the solution well together, (add in order given). Dose of this would be teaspoonful three times each day, taken before meals, see?
-
Let the diet be principally those of gruels, until these whole properties are taken. No meats or heavy foods, see? Wild game or fish may be eaten. Whole wheat breads, gruels, brans, cereals, fruits of any character that agrees with system. Not too many vegetables, only those that may be eaten green. No white bread, nor very much sugar. No stimulants of coffee or tea. Milk may be drunk warm, see?
-
For the conditions in limbs and extremities, use when the pain is severe a saturated solution of Epsom Salts, wrung out in hot cloth and bound about the limbs or joints, or across the small of the back.
-
At least every other day, use the application of the Violet Ray over the cerebro-spinal system. Do that, consistently and persistently. We will bring the normal conditions for this body.
-
We are through.
