This psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 17th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [136].

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding the physical conditions of this body as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What causes the brown blotches all over the face and what will remove same? Is there some lotion or medicine which will prevent this condition? (A) This, as we see and as given, is the results of poor elimination, or of eliminations misdirected in their channel of elimination, and as a result the capillary circulation, to exposed parts of body especially, takes on that condition of the drosses being left in the cuticle and produce, as the change in the restoration of the epidermis, the change or colors or blotches as shown on the exposed portions of body.

To remove this, and to rid the body of the condition, would be well to first take those properties that will produce the stirring of the eliminations in the excretory system as is functioned over by kidneys and liver. Taking then this:

Take a mild Saffron Tea, made in quantity one (1) dram to eight (8) ounces of water. Let steep, not boil but nearly boil, and then strain, using this as the dosage: Two (2) tablespoonsful three (3) times each day, until whole quantity is taken.

Then begin with a solution of Arsenic, Fowler’s Arsenic Solution, taking 1 drop for 3 days, then 2 drops for 3 days, then 3 drops for 3 days, then 4 drops for 3 days. Then skip 1 day and begin again with 1 drop for 3 days, on up to the 5 drops in the next. Then we will find the body will have to adjusted the eliminations, provided during time the greater quantity of the diet consists of vegetable matter or sea foods, or each. This we would find would relieve this condition.

As for the lotions for the skin, well that any of the vanishing creams be used, especially would we give those as is used in Pond’s.

Do this and we will remove the condition producing this in this body, [136].
