This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of July, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [136].

1. [900]: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer any questions which I will ask you regarding this body. If there is time, at the end of this reading, you will say, “We are through with this reading, ready for the next,” and I will give you suggestions for the next reading.

2. EC: We have the body here. We have had this before, you see.

3. Now, we find there are many changes in the physical forces of this body since we had this here before. Many are for the better physical condition. There are those disturbances of which there have been some warnings to the body concerning same. These have to do with the eliminations as are set up in the body, and the determent in the physical condition as respecting these eliminations causes some distresses to the body. Beware of hurting the feet soon, too!

4. These conditions have to do with IMPROPER eliminations. Hence the disturbances as are seen in the capillary circulation, and the inactivity in the hepatic circulation. These produce this listlessness that occurs at times, and the lack of energy as the body desires, and the inability to throw off that leadened heavy feeling occurring at times. This also is that as seen in the lymph producing that of these cell forces in its emanation (that is, from the cells) that are thrown off through the capillary, and this produces the irritation there.

5. To meet the needs of the physical conditions of the body at the present, we would find there should be added to the system those properties and vibrations that will correct these conditions, producing an equaled elimination, all of the eliminating centers functioning in their proper direction. Also adding to the body these properties that will BRING the better balance in nerve and blood supply. Also adding to the glands of the body, both in the direct and in the ductless glands.

6. This, then, should be that administered to the body at the present:

7. Begin with a mild solution of Fowler’s solution of arsenic, one drop each day for five days, two drops each day then for five days. Continue this until there is five drops each day being taken in this same manner. Then eliminate this for five days, beginning again with one drop, after the five days stop. At the end of the second round, begin with those vibrations that will be accorded through the Radio-Active Appliance, carrying with and through same that of the iodine as is taken through same for the glands. Do that.

8. Bewaring, as has been given, respecting the feet and injuries to same.

9. And the diet should be nearer those of the vegetable, and the green variety as much as possible.

10. Do that.

11. We will bring then the normal forces to this body, [136], for these are good, and there is much to be accomplished through the efforts of the physical body, [136]. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) The body does not understand the feet warning or how to beware of that trouble. (A) The inclinations and the astrological conditions refer to feet during the next three months. Beware of injuries to the feet. Just taking care, see?

13. (Q) Particular care regarding shoes, or where she walks, crossing avenues, or just what? (A) Beware regarding shoes or injury in crossing avenues, streets, or in ANY manner - for this is only as precautions, as given, see?

14. (Q) What can be done to relieve the pain in the boils on the leg? (A) Remove that from the system as is causing this condition and these will disappear. As for specific, add as an applicator for the condition equal parts of plantain and thick cream, as a lotion or salve. This will relieve the pain. But remove from the system those properties in their right channel, that are causing the conditions, and the body will be rid of these eliminations issuing through improper channels.

15. (Q) The coughing and bronchial condition - ? (A) This, as we see, is irritation from that of incorrect vibrations as set in glands in body. Hence that given as is seen in Radio-Active Appliance, that carries properties for the equalization of vibratory forces as set in the physical body, both to the functioning of glands in organs and of ductless glands in the body. Adding then through same those proper vibrations in that as given, in tincture iodine.

16. (Q) What is meant - or what advice can be given to this body in that much will be accomplished through her physical efforts? (A) As has been given for the body, there are those mental and physical abilities of the body that, applied in that direction wherein there may be much accomplished in the physical or material plane by the acts and by the actions of this body. Hence, keep the body physically fit, that the spiritual forces may manifest the better through same.
