This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of June, 1937, in accordance with request made by the daughter over the phone, Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Aline Andrews.]
Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes.
-
Conditions are not so well.
-
The general breaking up of coordination between the impulses and the activities of the physical system, as indicated, has begun.
-
As we would find, necessarily, with those applications that have been made of the vibrations from the low electrical forces of the Wet Cell Appliance - these have tended to make for a quieting; but with the breaking up it is necessary that there be more sedatives used.
-
To make for the better and the more quieting of the body, we would have the general manipulations osteopathically, with a specific application - or specific attention given to the centers where the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic systems coordinate the closest; as the lumbar plexus, the 9th dorsal plexus, the 1st axis of the cervical, or 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical.
-
But all of these must be done together.
-
Do that.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What sedative should be used? (A) The sedative necessarily should be under the supervision of the physician in charge; as to whether it is a narcotic or a hypnotic or merely a sedative, or bromides. Bromides, of course, for these general conditions, would be preferable; but it is to be given at the discretion of the physician.
-
(Q) Should the Appliance be continued? (A) The Appliance should be continued, as has been indicated.
-
(Q) Is there the response as should be? (A) There has been some response, yet there is now - as we find - the breaking up of this coordination. Hence the necessity for the attempts to quiet not only by the low electrical forces but by the sedative, as well as the osteopathic adjustments in those specific centers as well as the general.
-
(Q) Should any other changes be made now? (A) Those as given here as we find would be the better for the present.
-
We are through with this Reading.
