This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of January, 1926, in accordance with request made by his brother, Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [137], of … St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [137]. This we have had before. The dreams, as we see, come in that manner, as has been outlined, and may be used by entity for those conditions as each dream or vision relates to, in the way and manner as has been given. Ready for dream.

3. (Q) Tuesday night, Jan. 19, or Wednesday morning, Jan. 20. I was running the California Petroleum Book on the floor of N.Y. Stock Exchange. Trading seemed to stop for a few minutes, as if there were periods. Between these periods, I found California Pet had gone up and trading become so great in volume as to use up all the pages in my book. At this I became excited and tried to act like [5768] acts when he gets excited. I called our clerk, Herman, to the phone, but had difficulty in getting him. I tried on the outside public phone and succeeded, and he gave me a memorandum of the orders higher up. (A) In this we see there is presented to the entity those conditions as are to exist at various periods, concerning a given stock. Also those conditions that, as the entity sees in an individual in their actions at time of excitement, or at time of certain character or mode of trading, assumes, takes, puts on certain actions or conditions, that as are seen in the entity’s action in self. Then as the warning, that may be used in the way and manner as this: This particular stock, California Oil, as we see, with many others, falling off in the price at the present time. There will come the stage - 25th - 26th when it will have reached a low point, and will advance. Then buy, see, at the low point 25th - 26th - see? and when this has advanced to the 4, 5 to 6 points, in the large volume of trading, as will be seen around 26th - 27th - 28th, then dispose of same, see?

4. (Q) Does this indicate an advance in Cal Pet stock? From current prices? (A) From current prices, on 25th - 26th, see?

5. (Q) Should the stock now be bought? (A) 25th - 26th, see?

6. (Q) I was in the street playing with a big dog that seemed to belong to someone in my family. It was night and I was with someone else. We noticed a struggling figure on the street - the figure was bound in a large body, trying to free himself. I thought the confined or bound and struggling figure was a burglar and I wanted the dog to bite him. Instead, the dog playfully bit me. (A) As a warning to the entity, in that because there comes those conditions that, apparently, would bring the large returns by pushing just a little farther, with that information as may be or has been given the body as regarding conditions as existent with the trading as is involved by this entity, that instead of attempting to corner in a manner the last penny, take the advantage, and be in that position of taking advantage, rather than being bitten by own defense, see? That is, then, when the information, as may be or has been given to entity, use same in accordance with the lessons, with the rules, those conditions as have been outlined for self, see?
