This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of February, 1926, in accordance with request made by his brother, Mr. [900].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 12:15 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [137], of … St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the entity, with the dreams as come to the entity from time to time. These, again, as we see, are the correlations of the conditions that are carried in the mental of the entity, and through the subconscious correlated into physical actions that bring to the mind lessons that may be applied in the daily life. Ready for dream.

  3. (Q) Thursday night, Jan. 28, or Friday morning, Jan. 29. Trouble on the floor of Stock Exchange, between Walter Travers and either Green or Stone. Walter Travers lost his rubbers and blamed one of these men. A big crowd gathered and excitement. (A) This, as we see, is as the study of those conditions as have been presented to the body in the mental mind, correlating same in the the subconscious brings about that projection of a condition wherein there will be the excitement of the general condition on market, precipitated by conditions as arise through certain individuals, as is seen between these individuals here, and bringing about by the actions as of some conditions regarding rubber, see?

  4. (Q) More trouble on floor N.Y. Stock Exchange. I had much trouble negotiating a loan for Wm. E. Lauer & Co. (A) Again we see those same conditions as are presented; that is, the troublesome times, the UNREST as is to be created, even in stable conditions, as is seen presented by inability of one considered stable in many ways to negotiate handling of loans, etc., see? Just the general undertow of troublesome, of undue, untold conditions arising as regarding stock exchange.

  5. (Q) I was trading in Columbia Carbon and reference was made to 100 shares I bought myself sometime ago. Carbon seemed to go up. (A) One of those conditions in which the entity is seen, as is given in others, that certain conditions are arising that bring these conditions regarding the troublesome conditions on the market, see? As relating to American Carbon, see, as we find some advances. Then, when there is advance sufficient for profits on same, take it. Be out.

  6. (Q) Was looking out of the window of a tall apartment house - 270 Park Ave. Building raised up and I became frightened. (A) This, as we see, again a correlation of those conditions as related to those as happening on Stock Exchange; those unheard of conditions, of certain rises, certain falls, in stocks, wherein as to heretofore has been considered stable, see? uneasiness in mind, uneasiness in the GENERAL conditions as viewed by entity, see?

  7. Then, the entity should take advantage of these, knowing that the conditions are to exist, to be free from those wherein trouble or worry would be brought to the entity by existent conditions, and when the time comes that these may be used for advantage, use same.

  8. We are through for the present.
