This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of June, 1926, in accordance with request made by his brother, Mr. [900].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. A. Wood Gray & Dr. T. B. House.]

Time of Reading 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.J.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the improvement of same, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see.

  3. Many of the conditions in the physical forces of the body show improvement since we have had this before. The eliminations have been re-established to a great extent to their normal channels. Still there is seen the troubles and conditions as exist in the throat and tonsil. This causes much of the inflammation that is produced lower down in the throat, and the exhuming of those conditions from this diseased tissue gives distress, and, unless kept in a normal state throughout the system in eliminations, distresses may arise again. Hence it would be better for the body to have this condition attended to in the way and manner as has been outlined, while the recuperation is taking place throughout the rest of the system. Such an one would be found through the regular channels of the profession, by one interested in same, and this may be done while this is taking place. Ready for questions.

  4. (Q) Give name and address of a capable man in the field of finger surgery that would be the best to treat [137’s] tonsils. (A) Such an one as Richardson [Martyn L. Richardson, D.O.] - Norfolk, or one as Green [Charles S. Green, D.O.] - in New York, or as Willis [D.O. or M.D.?] - in Rochester, [N.Y. or Minn.?] Wills [M.D. or D.O.?] - in Asbury Park. Such as these may be ones that may remove these conditions without the operation, and cleanse the system, while this is being in the state of recuperation throughout the rest of the system, by REST, for, with the continual worrying in the body of the mental forces, this still produces irritations to the nerve system, and this is a hindrance to all of the system in this low state of resistance. Hence the warning as to keeping eliminations as near normal as possible while this condition still exists.

  5. (Q) Anyone in the N.J. neighborhood of the body? (A) Wills.

  6. (Q) How often should the finger treatment be accorded? (A) This should be in keeping with the conditions as the operator finds at the time, and follow along the lines as is necessary. This, as is seen, is not the ordinary finger surgery as is thought of by the individual here, but by that condition for finger surgery in this case means the elimination of diseased tissue.

  7. (Q) May anything further be done for the general physical condition of the body? (A) Keep the eliminations as near normal as possible, see?

  8. That is all the questions.

  9. We are through for the present.
