This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of June, 1937, in accordance with request made by the mother, Mrs. […], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. [257].

1. EC: Yes.

2. Now as we find, we would make a disagreement with that being administered in the present.

3. Yet owing to the conditions and that which has arisen as to the anxiety produced by the occurrence of the spasmodic reactions, and that contraction to portions of the muscular forces, we find that it might work a hardship upon the proper development of the body to change the administrations in the immediate.

4. However, as we find, these that are being used are being changed from time to time.

5. DO NOT allow the administration of only bromides, or of that to keep down the reactions in the system; but rather insist that a more thorough examination be made as to the formations of lesions in the lacteal area - or about the emptying portions of the stomach into the intestines, or through the duodenum and through the lower liver area.

6. These as we find arise from a poor circulation and a condition which existed in the body as it was being formed in conception.

7. Within the next thirty to sixty days, then, if there is not a more decided change for the better, then we would give those suggestions for corrections that would be in keeping with what WE find to be the disturbing forces in the body, [1384].

8. This becomes then a very delicate, a very hard situation to be considered; but those who are responsible must consider the whole condition from their own angle and from the faith and confidence they have in the physician handling the case.

9. Though we would give, as we find, that there is a disagreement as to the cause, we would not interfere in the present - until there has been the opportunity for the carrying out of that which has been set as a course for treatments in the present.

11. (Q) What caused the condition originally? (A) As indicated, a poor development through the period of gestation - or conception.

12. (Q) Is an operation necessary? (A) This may depend upon how well these conditions in the area indicated are broken up.

As we find, it is best - as changes are being made in administrations - that no further exploration be made but a further, closer examination; and then, unless there is a great deal of improvement - more so than has arisen from even the changes that have come about by merely submerging the condition, we would give that as WE find helpful.
