This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 13th day of February, 1926, in accordance with phone request made by her son-in-law, Mr. [900].

Time of Reading 7:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body which I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before. Now, we find that the vital forces in the physical of the body are still on the wane, and that to awaken the spiritual forces to that of the ability to overcome this physical condition would bring to the body those of the rejuvenating of the mental forces in physical, which are being kept subdued through the action of those properties affecting directly the locomotary of the sensory system. Then, we will find that within forty-eight hours that disintegration will take place, unless there is some awakening through the conscious moments of the body.

3. We are through.

R3. 2/15/26 See daughter [136]‘s letter of appreciation to EC (copied into 136-33) in which she stated that although they tried they were never able to follow the directions for osteopathic treatments as given for [139].

R5. 2/19/26 EC’s letter to Dr. [5618]: “[900]‘s mother-in-law, Mrs. [139], came up from …, La. about the first of December, arrived in N.Y. sick, was operated on about two days or three days before Christmas. Seemingly she improved for a while, then started to go back, and they thought it was necessary for another operation, but she did not recover from that. He left last Sunday for … with body. During the time his wife [136] has been in the hospital also, and it was necessary for an operation for her. They lost their child that would have been born in May or June. You can imagine what he has been through.”
