This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the New Southern Hotel, Parlor L, Columbus, Ohio, this 5th day of September, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [147].

1. EC: Now, we find, as a general condition, and as the specific condition, regarding that in the sensory system, that has to do with the auditory forces, the body is on the improve.

2. The vibrations Wet Cell Appliance] as being accorded the system are very good at the present time, only needing that mental attitude toward self that will keep the nerve ends, that are being created by the strength and the building in the system, of those connections to make the perfect coordination in the auditory system.

3. Be well, with this increase in the nerve ends meeting their needs, the massage to be used along all ends leading to the auditory forces, that all used force in the system in its action in regard these portions be followed out, especially that along the Eustachian tubes and the connection with same in the cochlea in ear proper; that is, with the hand osteopathic finger surgery?] manipulate those under the palate. Follow these out, for this will stimulate the circulation and assist in gaining the correct vibrations necessary to make coordination more perfect; keeping the vibration from the battery forces.

4. Keep those locally in the system, and keep the diet and those of the general condition that assists in building the plasmatic cellular force, especially that in nerve tissue. Other conditions in the body, some in physical forces we find have changed from that as we have had before. These are from external conditions, but are being accorded that correct to make the normal correlation of conditions necessary to bring the body to the normal forces.

5. Keep then that mental force of the I AM within, that is all sufficient to bring the correct vibrations to this body, Mrs. [147].

6. (Q) Is the battery now being used correctly? Are there any changes to be made? (A) Keep those vibrations as are now being accorded through same, only making application longer period. The vibrations from same are very good, near to that of the correct vibration.

R1. 9/9/24 She wrote: “I am sorry I did not come down to the Southern Saturday P.M. but I misunderstood in some way; I thought you were coming to the office, I went over to Dr. Farrand’s in the afternoon and I understood him to say you were to give him the reading. He talked so low and there were several in the room so I did not ask him to repeat what he said.

“Miss [4383] tells me you are coming over to Columbus again in a few days and I will see you then.

“I am so glad we are on the right path at last and I most assuredly will try to do my part. Hope nothing occurs again to interrupt the work and that we will soon have tangible results.

“Thanking you and hoping to see you in the very near future, I am”

R2. 9/23/24 She wrote: “You spoke of my hearing as being improved, my instrument is like a telephone, in fact is a telephone highly sensitized, and some times it gives service and other times it doesn’t; then too some times I get good batteries and other times I do not so I appear to hear better at some times than others. I am trying to know there is a change going on even though I can’t realize it, and I know there was when you gave the last reading.

“I am just as thorough in using the battery as ever and feel that soon I will be able to report VISIBLE improvement. I most assuredly shall keep in touch with you and if you will occasionaly check up on the treatment I shall more than appreciate it.
