Date: 1/3/1938 Sex: M ReadingID: 7390

This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of January, 1938, in accordance with request made by the friend - Mr. […] [Mrs. [1069]”s son], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Grace Hospital, Time of Reading Room …, 4:25 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1507].

  2. Now as we find, owing to the circumstances and conditions that surround the body, under the present conditions, little may be materially gained by that of change.

  3. We will give, however, here, that which - if the body, [1507], will hold in a mental attitude - may bring the better influences and forces to bear in every way.

  4. Then, if this does bring relief as sought, in sixty to seventy-two hours we would give further affirmations for the body-entity to hold.

  5. Take this, then, for the present:

  6. “FATHER, GOD, LET THAT MINISTRATION BRING TO MY BODY THAT AS WILL FIT SAME FOR A GREATER AND A BETTER SERVICE TO THEE IN MY DEALINGS WITH MY FELLOW MAN.

  7. “SAVE, FATHER, THY SERVANT, NOW, IN THINE OWN WAY, IN THINE OWN MANNER. AS THOU WOULD HAVE IT, LORD - NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE IN AND THROUGH ME, NOW!”

  8. We are through with this Reading.

Copy to Mr. […] [Mrs. [1069]‘s son] ” ” Ass’n file

Wired Day Letter: If response in few days seek further information, but for present only hold in mental attitude this prayer:

“FATHER, GOD, LET THAT MINISTRATION BRING TO MY BODY THAT AS WILL FIT SAME FOR A GREATER AND A BETTER SERVICE TO THEE IN MY DEALINGS WITH MY FELLOW MAN.

“SAVE, FATHER, THY SERVANT, NOW, IN THINE OWN WAY, IN THINE OWN MANNER. AS THOU WOULD HAVE IT, LORD - NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE IN AND THROUGH ME, NOW!”
