This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of February, 1939 in accordance with request made by the self through wife - Mrs. [1101], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., sponsored through Active Membership of her father, Mr. [437].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes.

  3. As we find, there are disturbances in the circulatory forces of the body - as is indicated in the irritation to those superficial portions of the body.

  4. These as we find would be best reduced by the use, about an hour each evening, of the hot and cold packs alternately - very hot, very cold, see? Let these applications last about an hour or the like, changing the packs about every five to ten minutes - using first hot, then cold.

  5. Then we would bathe the hands in a weak solution of Atomidine water; about a teaspoonful to half a gallon of water, see? Keep the hands bathed in this.

  6. Also we would change the diets to less of fried foods and more of vegetables and fruit juices. The fruits, of course, may be taken at meals or between same, - or at regular intervals. The vegetables, - take these in the juices or in a raw salad or the like at least once or twice during the day.

  7. Do these for periods of ten days to two weeks, then leave off for another week and then try again, see?

  8. And we would have a correction osteopathically made for a subluxation which exists in the upper dorsal and extending to the cervical area.

  9. Do that.

  10. Ready for questions.

  11. (Q) What will improve condition of scalp and hair? (A) A general massage with White Vaseline AND ANY good scalp tonic - that does not have too much alcohol in same.

  12. We are through for the present.

Copy to Wife ” ” Ass’n file ” ” Mr. [437]
