This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of February, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1543], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Dr. […], [[2558]”s Husband].

1. EC: (In undertone, “What a home!”)

2. Yes, we have the body, Mrs. [1543].

3. As we find, in giving that as may be helpful or beneficial, ALL the conditions - OR the length of time that this has been allowed to become a portion of the constitutional reactions - must be taken into consideration.

4. There is this trembly condition as combined with the latent and manifested effects of those affections that have produced and do produce static forces in the muscular portions of the extremities, as well as in the structural portions or conditions that have been deterred.

5. While these may not bring normalcy, we find that the better influences and forces may be brought for this body by using the lower form of electrical vibrations as may be had from the B Battery - but through the negative attachment apply the vibrations from the Chloride of Gold Solution to the umbilicus and lacteal duct plexus.

6. We find that the blood supply indicates the disturbance in the nature of the salts, or those portions of the activity through the muscular forces becoming static or set - which is indicated in the manner in which there is the trembly condition, and the nature of the conditions appearing as a portion of the superficial circulation.

7. All of these become then a portion of that to be reckoned with.

8. Those applications that have been used are only static, or only staying in their activities.

9. The electrical forces as indicated would be carried to the body in this manner; for only twenty to thirty minutes each day:

10. The first attachment - that is the positive - would be one day to the lumbar plexus, the next day to the 9th dorsal plexus.

11. But the last attachment - that is the negative, passing through the Gold Solution (in the proportion of two grains Chloride of Gold to one ounce of Distilled Water) - would be EACH day applied (this being the larger plate, you see) over the lacteal and umbilicus duct.

12. The Gold Solution should be changed at least every fifteen days; using six to eight ounces of the Solution (in the proportions indicated) in the container through which the wire would pass.

13. Do this, and as we find we may bring the better conditions for the body.

14. The diets, the activities would necessarily be carried as they have been.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) How long should this treatment be kept up? (A) Keep up for a period of thirty to sixty days, have a rest period from it then for some ten to fifteen days; then begin again.

And we will find, by the latter portion of the first period, considerable effect for BETTERMENT to the system.

17. (Q) Any particular type of wires or plates to be used on the B Battery? (A) The regular plates as used for carrying Solutions to the system; small copper plate on the positive pole, larger nickel plate on the negative pole.
