This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of January, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1573], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: We have the body here.

3. As we find, there still continues to be a high blood pressure. It is necessary that there be kept the colonic irrigations.

4. We would also have small quantities of Atomidine (atomic iodine) about once a day; one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal.

5. But as the Atomidine is taken, it will be necessary that there be a stimulation, osteopathically, about twice a week for distribution of these THROUGH the system; stimulating the DRAINAGES especially from all of the glandular system. Take at least sixteen to eighteen such treatments. WE would have such as Hudgins.

6. These as we find offer the better manners to keep down these disturbing conditions.

8. (Q) Does the high blood pressure cause the peculiar feeling in head, and fainting spells, dizziness, etc.? (A) It causes the condition, and is the affectation both of heart and liver, and head.

9. (Q) What causes hurting in right side? (A) The incoordination of the assimilating system with the distributing system, as through the connections with the liver and gall duct and the like.

10. (Q) Why the terrible pain in lower back, so that I cannot move or turn over at night? sort of a pulling toward each ovary? (A) Hence the necessity for the distribution of energies through the system, by the deep manipulations.

11. (Q) What causes inactive pituitary gland? (A) Just disturbed and clogged with the lack of sufficient iodine in the system, and an excess of potash.

12. (Q) Why have I never menstruated properly? May anything normalize this? (A) Only through the activity of the glandular system.

13. (Q) How often should the colonics be given? (A) Once or twice or three times a week if it is necessary.

14. (Q) May anything be done to retard growth of hair on face? (A) Only the use of depilatories; but do not use those that carry lead!

15. (Q) What would be the best to use? (A) Any of those that act well with the skin.
