(Q) Why did not first Reading [1588-1] indicate stone or growth in bladder? (A) The conditions as indicated were causes, that cause the conditions existent. And as the causes and that as might eradicate same were given, these were left for using these corrective measures and thus eliminate in a much more SAFE manner than that which would have been indicated by operative forces.

R1. 7/12/38 Mrs. [1010]‘s letter: ”…The boy’s parents took him to Johns Hopkins last week. They examined him - x-rayed him also and told his people to take him back home, take care of him and do their best for him as his case was hopeless. They found a tumor on the brain and could not operate. He seemed to have improved some, seems a little better at times, then goes back into the same old sickness - it’s pitiful. I followed the suggestions but it was too late. I think he was injured at birth from things they told me. I have noticed when the body is incurable, death is not so far away. In the reading, they never say death is near or that it is hopeless, do they?…”
