This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Artic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of January, 1939, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. […], through Associate Membership in the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 5:40 to 5:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1594].

3. As we find, in a general manner conditions continue to be improved. It will depend upon how well the eliminations are kept, and how well there is kept the rubs AND the manipulations, as to how soon and how well there will be the eliminating of the effects of the tumor and its effect upon the sensory system, as well as the locomotory system; and the reflexes to the nerves and muscles especially of the extremities.

4. There should never be a day that there is not at least one or two evacuations.

5. There should never be those periods when there isn’t some exercise given to the muscles of the locomotory centers, and to the limbs, from THEIR centers where impulses are received for the activity to the extremities.

6. This, to be sure, requires care; but - yet - the results are so dependent upon those applications that these should be adhered to.

7. In the matter of the eliminations, keep the Packs occasionally, as well as when necessary the Acid Packs and the rubs for the abdomen.

8. Do not have in the diet those things that disagree, yet give plenty of the vitamins necessary for body-building.

9. As we find, it would be well if there would be given, now, the Codiron. This would necessitate the crushing of same and putting in a part of the food or gruel that would be given at least each day, one pellet. But keep this continuously, so that there is the better resistance and the better effects of the vitamin forces for the body-building.

11. (Q) What caused her to have spell with her stomach last night? (A) Those foods that were taken disagreeing, and the indigestion.

12. (Q) What can be done to prevent the vomiting spells and sick stomach? (A) Only the massages and the care as to the diet, and these that keep for the better eliminations, see?

13. (Q) Why does she get stiff at times? (A) The reaction to the muscular forces when there is the effect of the poisons being circulated, as it were, through the system; and their activity upon the reflexes in the nerve and muscular forces of body.

14. (Q) Should the battery treatments be kept in the same manner? (A) This will be well. These should be recharged, kept clean, and kept in the manner as has been indicated.

15. (Q) Should the osteopathic treatments be kept, and how often? (A) These are necessary; at least once a week.

16. (Q) Should thyroid be continued? (A) Not necessary provided the Codiron is taken; for this (the Codiron) is better than the thyroid, as it carries a better combination for the system.

17. (Q) Then you would discontinue the thyroid when the Codiron is taken? (A) As just indicated.

18. (Q) What diet now may be given? (A) More of those foods that are body-building, of course, but not too much of solid foods. Well-balanced in the vegetables, the proteins, the vegetable salts; of course the gruels and such natures.

19. (Q) What causes the place on top of head? (A) The eliminations through the system of those activities as produced by there NOT being the proper elimination through the alimentary canal and through the channels of eliminations.

20. (Q) Anything special to be done for this place? (A) Massage GENTLY with an equal combination of Mutton Suet, Turpentine and Camphor; this is the better.
