EC: Yes, we have the body here.

Now as we find, there are very definite causes for the disturbing conditions in this body. And there will be the continued recurrence of this, with the attempts of the body to move about a great deal or be on the feet or to be changed about much, to greater or lesser degree, until the body has either adjusted itself - in a manner - or until corrections are made to prevent this disturbance.

These are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1627]:

The blood supply indicates, by its very nature of activity, that there is carried in same the the conditions that produce a temperature of a nature that changes fast at times; at others it is a slow, even condition; arising from disturbances in portions of the system from which there arises the distribution of assimilated forces.

Hence we find greater distressing conditions are produced through the liver and the circulation to the kidneys, to the heart and lungs.

Hence we will find the temperature varying at times according to not only the activity but the cycle of the day itself.

These as we find arise from a pressure existent in the lumbar, sacral and coccyx area. This was produced in those periods when the body was first presented in birth, and then through a pressure exerted by the body sitting down too hard has caused the conditions to become more acute. That it affects the lymph and the nervous system is because of the pressure that exists in these areas. That it affects the body by its mere activity is the indication of the involvement of the locomotory center, and the nerve system as related to same.

It will not necessitate medicinal properties so much as it will the correction of same, and not by a severe jar - for it’s too young for that; but by a SPECIFIC manner.

If there will be X-Rays, properly taken - lateral as well as parallel - we may find these conditions indicated in the lumbar and sacral or lumbar-sacral axis and through the sacral itself, and on to the coccyx end.

The alignment would be made osteopathically, gently but positively.

For the diet we would keep the easily assimilated foods, and not too much of those things that use sugars or sweets or the like; but the easily assimilated foods, and we should soon bring this to normalcy without the returning of the disturbance.

(Q) Did the measles, contracted a few months ago, leave ill effects of a permanent nature? (A) As has been indicated, the main cause is from a pressure produced at birth. An injury later accentuated it. The effect of the measles, of course, didn’t help any; but these only left effects that, with the settling about centers where exaggerations are, only produced greater extremes in the condition.

(Q) Any particular osteopath you would suggest? (A) Anyone that is very positive but very gentle, and - of course - in sympathy with child development.

(Q) Is the brain in a sound and normal condition? (A) It will NOT be, unless pressure is removed! There is only a deflection in the present.

(Q) Are the glands functioning normally? (A) If they are given an opportunity, they may function properly! They naturally become exaggerated through the amount of temperature that has been produced in the system.

(Q) Does the body get enough sunshine? (A) Well, there’ll have to be corrections before sunshine would be a positive aid or help. If it were in the OPEN a great deal, not too much sunshine in the beginning, it would be better.

(Q) A physician thinks the child may have infectious mo-noun-cleosis [mononucleosis]. Is this diagnosis correct? (A) The cause is rather that as we have indicated. Name it whatever you choose!

(Q) Any other suggestion? (A) These as we find would be the better.
