This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of March, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [1646], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: you will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, Mr. [1646]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, while the body is bettered from some of the acute conditions that have arisen in the metabolism of the central nerve system, and the functioning of the organs of same, the body needs to take it a little bit easy; with plenty of rest, and no undue excitements - or allowing the self to become worried or aggravated.

4. We would continue with the present administrations, but we would have more of hydrotherapy treatment combined with osteopathic adjustments; to better coordinate those centers from which impulses are received for the unbalancing in the metabolism.

5. Do include in these the colonic irrigations; and we will reduce the pressure, we will prevent those accumulations of lymph in areas through the body, and make for bettered conditions throughtout.

8. (Q) Is it advisable to continue taking Abdol? (A) As indicated, we would for the present; but when there has been established better coordination, and the pressure is nearer normal, the whole general metabolism better, we would gradually reduce and keep from such effectual reactions to the heart’s activity.

9. (Q) How often should the hydrotherapy treatment be taken? (A) This will depend upon the ability of the administrator to remove those conditions that cause the pressures and the nerve reactions in the colon area. So long as there is mucous, these should be taken fairly often. But two or three in the present should be sufficient, and these possibly ten days to two weeks apart.

10. (Q) What should they include? (A) This will depend much upon who makes the administrations. Keep the water body temperature. Do have the salt and soda in the proportions about a heaping teaspoonful of salt and a level teaspoonful of soda to a gallon of water for this body, for use in giving the colonic.

11. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) Keep away from fats. Not too much roughage, but foods that are easily assimilated; including all foods that give sufficient or excess quantities of iodine, - this preferably assimilated from the foods, though, rather than being given in other manners.

12. We are through for the present.
