This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 15th day of February, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1657], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Virginia.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes.

  3. As we find, there needs to be rather the more PERSISTENCY and the consistent application of those suggestions which have been indicated for the body.

  4. While the body has improved, it has tended to lag back - through the lack of keeping in attune or line with the best forces.

  5. Hence the body needs to become rather persistent in the application of all those suggestions as indicated.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) What causes the terrible pain and misery in my head? (A) As we find, it is the tendency for the poor circulation between the upper and the lower hepatic circulation, making for pressures upon the nerve systems of the body; especially the vagus nerve centers. These would be removed by the deeper manipulation osteopathically, that would tend to turn the draining into the proper channels, by stimulating the drainage system towards the alimentary canal. Then keep the alimentary canal clean and purified, of course.

  8. (Q) What causes the numbness in my hands and limbs? (A) Poor circulation, - the blocking through the areas and centers which radiate impulses to the arms and upper portions of the body. Hence the more consistent and persistent application of those suggestions as we have heretofore indicated.

  9. (Q) Is my throat responding to the violet ray treatments? (A) Fairly well, but there needs to be the better drainages set up for the general system, and we should have then a better response.

Do these, if we would keep the better forces then for this body of Mrs. [1657].

  1. We are through with this Reading.
