1. EC: Now, we have here the physical conditions as regarding [1713], and those conditions as are being assisted in the physical condition of body, by the manipulation as is being accorded this physical force. Necessary, then, that these be kept in that way and manner as has been given, for these are very good and their offices are being given in an excellent manner.

Just a note to enclose you the little message we got on your treatments this afternoon. I would judge from this that you certainly have an excellent osteopath and I’m sure you’re going to get results. Be sure and let us hear from you and let us know how you get along after you’ve taken a few of these treatments. I’d certainly like to know just what your osteopath has to say regarding your condition as respect to that which we have given, for in all our experience, and I think we have come in contact with at least two hundred osteopaths, I don’t think we’ve ever had more than one disagreement with our diagnosing, and I’m sure it has been some of the best in the country; in fact we did work for Dr. Still, the Founder of that School, President of the National Association, Secretary of the New York Association, President of the Southern Association, and did a good deal of work in the Southern school during its activity. Naturally, we would like to know what your osteopath has to say.

R2. 12/29/25 Tuesday [1713]‘s letter to EC:

Dear Mr. Cayce,

This is the first chance I have had to answer your letter. I seem to be playing in hard luck. About three weeks ago, while alighting from a step, my ankle turned causing the ligaments to be torn from the bone consequently I was laid up for almost three weeks.

I want to thank you for sending me the reading in regard to the osteopath. It was very kind of you to do that. It was an unexpected surprise.

I asked the osteopath what he thought of my case, that is the eyes. He seemed to coincide with what the reading showed. He said it was partial paralysis of the eyes caused by the tight muscles and nerves in the cervical region that leads direct to the eyes. He said he did not think I should wear the glasses all the time, just for reading sewing, etc., so that my eyes should not depend wholly on the glasses.

I have already taken about 9 treatments. I think I ought to ask for another reading to see how I am progressing. If you think it is wise to have a reading, I will send you some questions if you will let me know when you can do it for me.

It seems that the back of my neck still bothers me.
