-
EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces, as are latent and exhibited in the present entity, [1715].
-
In entering, astrologically, we find the entity coming under those influences as are seen in the relationships of the earth and Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and in Uranus, with Vulcan in the adverse. In these conditions builded as innate influences, many would be found contrarywise in their material manifestations in the present experience, through that as has been builded by the entity through the earth’s experiences, or through material manifestations of that innately builded in the individual soul, or entity.
-
In those in Mercury, we find these as innate and manifested in an intuitive manner. Those of the keen mental abilities, with the seeking of relationships and REASONING of things, and the tendency to correlate reason with those influencing in Venus, finds for that sincerity in truth and in ideals as are builded in self, through experience, and through the manifested force of the entity.
-
In Jupiter comes those influences as will be for their RULING forces in the entity. Especially will these be seen when that planet, WITH those of Mercury and Venus, are in an ascendency, and are in the birth house. These, then, will be found the periods when the greater opportunities will be offered the entity, or body, through this present experience. These, as will be found, will come in the 19th year, the 23rd year, and in the 32nd year. These will be of different conditions. One will be as the usage of the experience of the entity in the building as for those of defense in country; while those in the following will be in those of building in cities; and while those in the latter portion, or the middle LIFE for the entity, will be those in the home building.
-
In those conditions as are seen as manifesting influences, these we find, in the present development, coming more from the urges of the experiences in the earth’s plane, and the sojourns through the various spheres of development as make for that called the INTER-between, or through the borderland. In the varying conditions, we find:
-
One high and noble minded, tending towards the arts; especially in those that build for character, as well as those that build for the material conditions in life, or in earth’s experience.
-
In the influences, then, from experiences, as we find:
-
In the one before this we find in that land known as for that of brotherly love, during that period when much of the construction was being made. The entity then among those of the builders in that land, and during the latter portion of Penn’s supervision did the entity, as Waithe, give much of self and of self’s experience in the aid or those that builded in that land. In that as is seen innately, that of the architectural structure, that of the drawing, that of the artist, is seen from that experience, and in the field of ARCHITECTURAL will the entity succeed in the DRAWING, or in the EXECUTION of same, through this present experience. While these will be turned to ENGINEERINGS, in a form, yet the ARCHITECTURAL side will give FOR the entity the greater satisfaction and the easier understanding, and IN THIS CITY - that was, portion of, builded by the entity - should the LESSONS in same be lastly taken - ‘city of brotherly love’.
-
In the one before this we find during that period when the Master walked in the land. The entity then of the household of the brother of the Lord, in that of James the Less, in the name Clement. In this period the entity gained, for when there was the call, when Peter knocked at the door, the entity opened, and was astonished, as the rest, at that beheld. In this experience the entity gained through the whole of the experience, and in the present that criterion, that trust, that hope as is ever builded, if held only in that same way and manner as THROUGH that experience, will the entity succeed in that as is asked for; for while physical suffering came TO the entity during that experience, the lauding of that as is BUILDED will be REVERSED in the present; but keep the faith in the way as held during that period. In the latter portion the entity also became the carpenter, even as the Master, and was held by many as the excellent one, especially in the building of the house in Antioch, and this holds a peculiar interest for the entity in the reading of same.
-
In the one before this we find in that land known as the Egyptian land, during that period when there were dissensions and discussions among the peoples of the land, and the entity then among those that were of the gate keepers in the temple, taking no sides in the divisions as arose; yet suffered much in PHYSICAL pain through those of the turmoils, especially in the rebellion as was brought against the king, during the priest’s exile for a portion of the house being broken up, then the entity defended same. In the name Isel-Li. In this experience the entity lost and gained. Gained through the oneness of PURPOSE as felt, but lost in the inability of being able to DECIDE for self as to which side, or as to EITHER side. Being, then, that of the experience that makes for, in the present - when the entity must make decisions, and make decisions CERTAIN, for UNSTABLENESS of physical experience at times, that are innate, and which bear upon the entity, must be met through the varying experiences of the entity in a MANIFESTED form. In the present, also those of the reading, the studying, especially those of history and travel, are the most interesting to the entity. These have their weight also in that as is to be experienced through the various conditions as must arise in the experience, in the coming opportunities for the entity.
-
In the one before this we find in that land known as the Mongoloid, in the periods when there were the separations of the peoples in the various spheres of their endeavors, and in the broadening out of the fields of endeavor. The entity during this experience rather the leader, than those of the laborer, and the thinker and the interpreter, known in this period as The Iszze. In this experience the entity gained throughout, for the entity served, physically and mentally, those of the peoples who came in the entity’s domains, as well as those sent out, and many of those who went to the counsel of the great in the various lands, when there were the divisions being made, and when there were the periods that man fought against the beast; yet the entity fought not. Only in the PLANNING of the various defenses, and the first BUILDINGS in stone were PLANNED then by the entity. In the present experience, those of mystery, those that may be fought rather with the mental experience than of the physical, are of the most INTEREST and of the greater UNDERSTANDINGS to the entity.
-
In the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain:
-
As is seen, the entity has been the builder in the mental and in the material. In keeping first self in the path of that criterion as has been set and chosen as of old, may the entity attain and gain through self’s own development. In the same field may the entity gain and attain in the material fields; also through the same field may the entity gain and attain through that GIFT as may be given to others. Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should the architectural drawing, or that phase, be his life’s work? If not, what changes? (A) The architectural work.
-
(Q) Is the school course he has decided on for the winter the proper one? (A) Good.
-

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/10/33 Mother [522]‘s report: “[1715] is doing splendid work and he is a fine boy if he is ours and we are indeed proud of him. [1715] is certainly a believer in you and he is confident that he will get a good job this summer and be able to help himself through school next fall as you said in his Life Reading that this would be one of his best years. He said, ‘Mother, you have to believe these things if you expect them to come true.’”
R2. 1/16/33 EC’s letter to Mrs. [522]: “I certainly thank you for the snapshots. I had not realized that [1715] was going to a military school, or one where the uniform is universally worn. He certainly is a fine looking, upstanding boy.”
R3. 6/4/34 Mother’s letter: “[1715] came home yesterday and he doesn’t look very well. He has been studying so hard. I can see [1715]‘s life reading working out just as you said. He got first mention on two of his drawings - quite an honor for a second year man - also had his final drawing mounted and hung up in the library. The judges said his drafting was splendid. He made five B’s and is now a classified junior - so you know we are proud.”
R4. 8/18/36 Mother’s letter: “[1715] hopes to almost make his way doing extra work. Also [1715] made 50 cents an hour last year drawing on the places for a new hospital and this year he hopes to help an architect in … to draw plans.”
R5. 7/18/37 [1715]‘s own letter to EC (he is now working for an architect): “For the past couple of weeks I have been drawing day and night as we have been kept quite busy, as there is an oil boom on here. I really enjoy my work and find it more of an enjoyment than a task.”
R6. 9/38 Letters from [1715]‘s family indicated that he had gotten married.
R7. 12/30/42 Verbal report to GD by a member of [1715]‘s family: “[1715] is now a captain in the army. He did become an architect; then entered the army and was promoted right along.”
R8. 2/28/66 He wrote, under his letterhead as an architect, ordering $93 worth of publications from A.R.E. Press and requested copies of his original readings, also copies of his father [2698]‘s and brother [309]‘s Life Readings.
R9. 3/25/66 “I am a practicing architect, specializing in school work, which keeps me very busy. At this time we are working a 70-hour week and still can not stay ahead.”
