This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of July, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1773], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, there are a great deal of helpful forces that have come to this body.

4. However, there are still those periods of repression, or the tendencies for the body to become fearful when alone or in too deep a meditative mood; owing to those conditions which have existed and that need a better coordination, especially in those areas of the coccyx AND the area of the coordination of the lower nerve forces to the lower limbs, or the sciatics, AND the general portions of the nerve forces of the body.

5. We would keep the occasionally-given corrections for the coccyx end of the spine, - that will need some internal as well as external applications, to raise the end of the spine, see?

6. These we would have about once a week.

7. Also, not too often, but about twice a week, and for thirty to sixty minutes at the time, we would use the Radio-Active Appliance. Keep the plates very polished and clean, and let the Appliance set in the ice for five or ten minutes before it is used. Let such a period of application be used also for the spiritual elevation of constructive forces within the bodily influences; using those thoughts that have been indicated, but of course in the body’s own words, - not as rote, not as something just to be said, but as something to be felt, to be lived, to be applied in the relationships with others.

8. If this is done, we should find continued improvement, not only in the general physical health but the reactions of same to conditions of every nature about the body.

9. For putting the suggestions into application in the manner indicated, or putting the desire for helpful influence INTO practical application with individuals met daily, in the home, with those about self; we will see changes coming for the better.

11. (Q) Is there still the impinged condition in the spinal system that causes the continued mental depression or exhaustion. (A) If there was a whole connection, we would not advise the continuance of corrective measures. Especially is there not a full accord in the coccyx end of the spine.

12. (Q) Have these impingements improved with the treatments? (A) These have been improved, or else there would not be better physical conditions!

13. (Q) What is the nature of the alleged adenomas in the anterior portion of the neck? (A) As we find, these are a reflex from those conditions in the lower portion of the spine, - which may be materially aided by the correction of those areas in the coccyx, as well as - of course - a gentle or general treatment in the upper dorsal and cervical.

14. (Q) Are the Hematinic Plastules of benefit in my case? If not, what is suggested for anemia? (A) As we find, a BETTER combination would be found in CODIRON; for the vitamin balance is much better for the general GLANDULAR system, as well as the iron in its MANNER of combination with the cod liver oil. Take one Codiron tablet with each meal.

15. (Q) Are any glandular substances now indicated? (A) As indicated, only that as may be had from the correct balance of the vitamin forces in this compound known as Codiron.

16. (Q) Any other suggestions that will help relieve this present condition? (A) Do these as we find, for the better conditions of this body.

R2. 10/1/39 [1773]‘s letter to EC:

Dear Mr. Cayce-

I am enclosing P.O. Order for $10.00 to cover a check reading which I would appreciate having at your earliest convenience.

My condition isn’t satisfactory as yet and I would appreciate the further advice of a reading.

I have been going on with the osteopathic treatments by Dr. Crowder. He has had a couple of blood counts taken to verify the improvement in the anemic condition. About three months ago there was a very low red count but it has improved with increased dosage of Codiron. However he would like to know what is the cause of the disturbed balance in the white cell count - namely small lymphocytes are increased & polyleucocytes morphonuclear are increased - denoting infection from some source.

He would also like to know the condition of the spine - as you find it - and advise as to further manipulations.

I would like to know why I have this very disagreeable metallic taste in my mouth quite a lot.

Any other advise will be appreciated.
