This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of August, 1937, in accordance with request made by the Manager, Mr. Thos. B. House, Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 308-9 Essex Bldg., 3:25 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Norfolk, Virginia.

1. GC: You will have before you the H.H.R. Corp., its work in presenting the various products developed through this channel and its Manager, T. B. House, present in this room. Considering the present conditions and the results from past activities you will present at this time such counsel and guidance as will be helpful in developing the company’s program. You will answer the questions that have been submitted, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the activities of the Health Home Remedies Corporation, its management and the problems that present themselves at this time.

3. In considering the activities, and that which has been accomplished thus far in the distribution of the products - these as we find appear upon the surface as very discouraging to the management. Yet there have been and are those activities set in motion such that, if there is the holding to the activities in such a manner as to make for the better products, the better activities, these as we find may become much more active and produce returns sufficient for the needs not only of the developments but for the greater expansion of the activities of the corporation.

4. As we would find, there should be the preparation of one or more of the products in such a manner as to be disposed of by the corporation through channels that may make for the greater distribution of the product, that would make remunerations sufficient to carry on until there is the interesting of those who are being aroused to the needs of, as well as the interests in, the activities of such work.

5. The individuals that are soon to present themselves here are among those that later will be found to be channels through which disposition of such products may be consummated - McDowell. [See 8/9/37 letter under 1800-30 mentioning Mr. J. H. McDowell.]

6. As to the activities then of the management, there is no condemnation as we find in regard to any of the activities. Just the ability to carry on under the stress of anxiety, and of the discouraging conditions, until there have been interests aroused, is that necessary.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Considering our present financial condition, how can we raise funds at this time to carry on the work? (A) As we find, the disposition of Tim or Ipsab - one of these - is the better channel. The Ash - or any one of these might be disposed of in a way to make for sufficient financial returns.

9. (Q) Is there anything that T. B. House can do in regard to that mentioned? (A) Only in giving to those who have evinced the interest, in ANY manner, the dire needs of the corporation at this time.

10. (Q) Which one of the products mentioned would be the best to present for securing funds? (A) Tim presents the better channel, or the easier of disposition at the present.

11. (Q) Who would I contact to sell Tim to? (A) As has been indicated, the contact will be within the coming week - through which interests may be aroused.

12. (Q) Is there any special advice as to how to approach these individuals? (A) This must be within the discretion of the management and counsel with those who have been and are interested in the furthering of the activities.

13. (Q) Advise us regarding the type of program which should be planned for this product - Tim or Ipsab? (A) Tim as a sale needs only to have the verification of the users, the effectiveness of its activity indicated to those who may be interested in furthering the developing and distribution of such a product.

As to the Ipsab - do not lose the hold upon the formula of same. This presents a different proposition. It may be long drawn out, but as we find - as has so oft been indicated - sufficient returns here may be had to finance most ANY proposition.

14. (Q) Any special advice that will be helpful to the Manager, T. B. House, at this time? (A) Hold tight. Don’t worry too much. Worry just sufficient to keep busy. But this will work out!

15. (Q) Any further advice regarding the corporation as a whole, or any of its products? (A) Not in the present.

16. We are through for the present.

Thanks for yours of the 9th, haven’t as yet seen any thing of Mr. McDowell, he possibly may come in later. Thanks just the same. Hope the suggestions are helping, for the physical check.

Just had an inquiry from the Hon. Post Wheeler, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary, of the U.S.A. who is in N.Y. at present. Have asked him to call on you, as he wishes to know something of the work. Hope you meet him. Think you might have much in common.

New York, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Johnston:

We are planning a trip to New York beginning in the first week in November. As last year we will be with the Kahns in Scarsdale.

General announcements are going out by letter and Bulletin to New York members requesting that they make appointments for definite periods by writing here before October 23rd, and after that date by calling Mrs. Brown at Lexington 2-7680.

I will write you regarding HHR and general report on Association with in a few days.

Hope you had a pleasant vacation.

Dear Hugh Lynn:

I was glad to learn from your letter of October 8th that you expect to be in New York beginning the first week in November. It will be nice to see you all again and since I have heard practically nothing of developments since the time of the Congress I will be glad to be brought up to date.

You said in your letter that I might expect to hear from you in a few days with regard to HHR and the Association. I imagine that, since your expected arrival is so near at hand, you will postpone writing. I have been much too busy lately on other things to be able to give much thought to either HHR or the Association. When I have thought of HHR, however, it has been with considerable concern since, when last I heard, its situation seemed so precarious.

While your father is in New York, I will hope to have a reading from him. I will arrange in due course from either Mrs. Brown or from you after your arrival.
