This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of December, 1939, in accordance with request made by the husband - […], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1838].

  3. Now as we find, conditions are improved in some directions, and there are still greater distresses in other directions.

  4. There has NOT been the administering of those suggestions which were last given.

  5. As we find - in the present - greater help, relief from pain and all, might be the result if there would be the administering of Vitamin B-1, - both through the mouth and hypodermically (under the supervision, of course, of a competent physician in such).

  6. But this should be done, and not just spoken of!

  7. The rest of the manipulations, or the lessening of tension by the massage and the removal of pressure, are NOT harmful; rather they are beneficial, not only because of the suggestion carried with same but because of the suggestion in ACTIVE force upon the nerve plexus themselves (as well as to the mental forces of the body).

  8. These we would do, if we would get the better results.

  9. Ready for questions.

  10. (Q) We find that the right foot must be manipulated or be in constant movement, otherwise toes become cramped, causing great pain. Will you make suggestions to improve this condition? (A) We would apply those things as we have indicated.

As first expressed, there is the lack of the ability of the blood supply to give the system sufficient of the activities necessary in the blood stream to prevent the breaking down of the energies to the locomotories.

As indicated, these naturally at first are predominant or begin from the association or connection of same with the locomotory axis in the lumbar and sacral area, and find great expression in the bursa in the extremities of the lower limbs.

Do as has been indicated, if we would bring the better forces for this body of [1838].

  1. We are through for the present.
