HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:
-
EC: (In going back over years from present - ” - ‘33 - what a many change has been! - ‘32 - ‘19 - more and more and more complications through these years - ‘17 - ” etc., on back to birth date.)
-
Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1966].
-
In giving the interpretations of the records here, these are chosen with the desire that this may be a helpful experience at this time for the entity, in enabling same to analyze self in such a way and manner as to bring those choices into the experience that may assist the entity in filling the purpose for which it came into this material plane, - learning those lessons of patience, kindness, fortitude, gentleness, brotherly love; that there may come the fulfilling of those promises in the spiritual affairs and the spiritual purposes of the entity.
-
In giving the astrological aspects, as well as the material sojourns, know that these approach only as signs or omens or urges, and none are above or greater than the ability for choice - through the will of self in any given experience.
-
For He hath not willed that a soul should perish, but has with each temptation, each experience, prepared that way in which that experience, of whatever nature it may be, may be a helpful one for the entity, - if the entity will but look to Him as the giver and the author of life, and of all that makes for harmony and peace within the experience of a soul.
-
And it is in the seeking for its relationships to the Creative Forces that there is so oft brought within the experience of each soul that longing for a knowledge of, an awakening to the true relationships of the soul to its Maker.
-
In the astrological aspects we find Venus as the ruling influence, - Mercury and Mars being outstanding influences, becoming both helpful and adverse in the experience, as has been the experience of the entity in the present.
-
Through Venus we find the love, the great number of friends, the relationship with both sexes becoming rather the periods of dependency as well as periods of independence, and those relationships that have brought hardships as well as those making for unusual relations and circumstances and associations.
-
Then, put the valuation on each as to its experience, or its relation to the experience of self; that there may be the true knowledge of what is for the best, - knowing that what is IS for the best if one will but look to the proper sources for the help and the understanding.
-
In Mars we find where anger and wrath has made for great variations. For those that are of high temper are very well provided it is not allowed to become a stumbling stone. Use such rather in thy experience to learn patience, understanding, grace and mercy, - and not as a manner of giving expression of that which produces hate and hardships in the experiences of any. For these ye have seen in many of thy relationships. Learn thy lesson from same.
-
Know that He, thy Lord, thy God, is in His holy temple, and for THEE - thine own inner self! For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. Look then to the within. For there He has promised to meet thee, and alone in that strength as may be found in GOOD, in righteous judgment, in those influences of affluence that make for the awareness of the love of the Christ in the lives of individuals, may there be brought harmony, contentment, joy.
-
For as He hath given, “Lo, I am with thee always, even unto the end of the world,” if ye will but open thy consciousness to His awareness.
-
In those influences from Mercury we find a high mental ability. Oft is the entity misunderstood because of its independent air, and what others may call curious quibs or turns within the entity’s thinking that are of a peculiar nature. Yet the more oft are these found to be correct, provided their proper evaluations are given. And not because of thy judgments may ye boast - for these bring disturbing forces with thy relationships to others.
-
Know that the love as in spiritual understanding is that sought, and may only be applied in the relationships with thy fellowman, - and may be seen in the fruits of the spirit.
-
As to the appearances in the earth, these we find becoming as the emotional nature of the entity. Hence we find the emotions of a ruling nature in relationships have been very unusual, as manifested in the affairs of the heart, the home and the type of social relationships. All of these become a part of the experience from urges that arise from former appearances and activities of the entity.
-
Before this we find the entity was in the courts of Henry the Eighth when there were many of the women in waiting that fought for favors with the activities about the court.
-
The entity then was in the name Catherine, and of the house of Wymouth [?] [Weymouth?]. Thus we find the experiences of the entity were such as to make for the love of being able to influence and bring into the affairs of individuals in power or position an obeisance to the entity’s wishes.
-
And yet from that experience the entity may gain much, if it will apply in the present its ability to wear its clothes well, as well as the ability to be a designer of clothes or dresses, or those things that adorn the body in any form, way or manner. And, if the choice is made in such, the entity may put these in practical use during the experiences when the disturbances or stress from the material way or manner become a part of the experience. For the abilities in these directions, as a designer, are unusual, and - with the choice in such - may be turned into material gains.
-
Before that we find the entity was in the land of the present sojourn, during the very early period of the sojourners of those who came from or through the south and western portions of the present land, - among those who became later known as the Mound Builders, or those who made preparations for those activities that were a part of the experience through the presentation of teachers and ministers during those early periods.
-
Hence we will find that in portions of the land known as Ohio may the entity find manners or means or ways of carrying on, in a form or manner in which greater material as well as mental satisfaction may be a part of the entity’s experience.
-
Then the entity’s name was Calan, and the entity gained; for it made for those activities in which there were the considerations of the dwellings as well as the political and religious rights of all; for the entity acted in the capacity as the priestess for the peoples it served in the temple, or in the altars where sacrifices were wont to be made by those early peoples.
-
As to the activities in the present from same, - apply same in a form in which there is the learning of that as ye sought for others to be to thee; being patient as well as humble, - that applied in self.
-
The entity may learn a lesson in this: Never seek for others to be to thee what ye would not be to them.
-
For as is given, the seed ye sow, that ye must eventually reap. For what ye are indeed within speaks so loud, there is seldom heard what ye have to say.
-
Before that we find the entity was in the Palestine land, during those periods of the return of the activities from the Persian land, - and the rebuilding of the walls.
-
There we find the entity was among the young who were prepared or preserved for the offices of services in bringing forth those for a special activity, in the service in the temple.
-
Thus we find the peculiar influences the entity has had, may have upon the young in their relationships, in their choices as to relationships with others, whether in the marital or purely social, or whether as to a special service or activity.
-
Also we find that various forms of entertainment become a part of the entity, irrespective of what others may think about the entity. These may be well, if they are tempered with the thoughts of their sources, or the direction in which they may influence the lives of individuals under the present or future environments to which such may grow.
-
Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of activity in the offices of the service in the Temples of Sacrifice and the Temple Beautiful.
-
For as those changes came, and there were the preparations of men and women for the services in their various offices, the entity was among those who under that leader were given authority, or who because of their choice were given authority for a definite type of dress to denote as to what service they belonged.
-
Hence those things known as uniforms of various natures or characters, that would indicate the position or office to which the groups would attain, were a part of the dress.
-
And thus again we find the abilities of the entity in the present as to making choice of combinations for colors as well as dress for comfort under the various circumstances or offices in which individuals would serve.
-
Again we find the abilities of the entity to apply same in the present experience.
-
The name then was Stk-a.
-
As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:
-
First, analyze thyself. What is thy ideal? What is thy desire? Not as towards individuals, as to purely a social or material or economic position, but what and Who is thy ideal spiritually? mentally? then materially?
-
How do ye yourself fill those offices? Are ye fulfilling in thy experience, in thy relationships to others, the ideal relationships both materially and mentally, and spiritually? Not as to what ye would have others do for thee, but what would ye do for others?
-
These should be thy first determinations. Know that in those fields of activity pertaining to the work with the hands or the mind, in designing, ye may succeed, - whether it be clothes for children, for the misses, or the young man, or the matron, or peoples of low or high degree. Any of these may offer thee a service, or a channel through which greater expressions may be thine own.
-
Then, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, rightly divining the words of truth, and keeping self in such a way and manner that thy consciousness, thy conscience, smites thee not.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Would it be well for the body to reside in Ohio? (A) Near Columbus or Springfield.
-
(Q) What would be the effect of such residence there? (A) As indicated, it would offer an outlet or channel for activities in which greater peace and harmony may be the experience of the entity.
-
(Q) What metaphysical study should be undertaken by the entity now? (A) First, study the spiritual laws rather than metaphysical laws. These are they which open the way, the channels for metaphysical understanding.
But study to know thy relationship to thy Creator. No better handbook may be used than the Scripture itself.
- We are through for the present.

Mrs. [1966] …, New York
Dear Mr. Cayce:-

One son by this marriage (divorced).
Married again (1923) Mr. […] (another son by this husband.) was 15 yrs of age
- born April 12 - 1924.
My second husband adopted my son by my first husband legally; this is one of the sore points of my life - for I knew nothing of this adoption until the day my signature was needed. The boy’s name is […] (24 yrs of age -) born Nov. 26 - 1915, Newark, New Jersey, - in the same town where I too was born. My youngest was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
The hour set 11.30 to 12.30 Eastern S.T. July 29th A.M. is very satisfactory - and shall cooperate fully.
My sincere greetings and blessings on you, [1966]
Special request
At the moment and for many months I have been studying Metaphysics and feel a new being. I am very anxious to continue and teach eventually if I qualify.
My source of supply is limitless I know and each day I realize this more fully. My step-son my husband’s son by a former marriage (born 1889 Aug. 29 - N.Y. City) is my financial support these days - my husband’s whole fortune having gone thru someone else’s mismanagement. I feel tremendously guilty and not a little uncomfortable accepting his support - but I feel it is right - yet why I cannot say, - except that the Law has provided - and I am grateful. Thank you a thousand times for your help, which I feel will lead me further into the light.
