This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of July, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [1968], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Miss [1968] and Mrs. [264].]

Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ark.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1968]; this we have had before.

  3. As we find, there are changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Most of these are tendencies towards improvements. However, there are yet those disturbances that should be eliminated.

  4. The strains which have existed in the areas of the 9th and 10th dorsal bring distresses at times, when there are the tendencies towards lack of full or complete eliminations.

  5. Hence these inclinations bring about not only nerve pressures but deflect energies for the organs of the lower hepatic circulation, and sympathetically will disturb - if allowed to remain - the organs of the pelvis as well as the liver and upper hepatic circulation.

  6. As we find, we would have in the present at least ten full, complete adjustments osteopathically administered; especially in reference to the areas from the sacral to the lower portion of the cervical area; coordinating the cervical centers with the rest of the corrections.

  7. Then occasionally, once a month or the like, have a complete hydrotherapy administration; including a mild cabinet sweat, the sitz baths, a full massage with an equal combination of Pine Oil and Peanut Oil; finishing, of course, with the alcohol rub.

  8. Be mindful that there is sufficient of the exercises that use the areas through the lumbar and sacral; the bicycle riding, walking, horseback riding, rowing and the like. These especially would be well for the body.

  9. Refrain from too much of sweets. Ice cream and ices are very good.

  10. Do not take too much of carbonated waters.

  11. Keep plenty of those foods that supply calcium to the body. These we would find especially in raw carrots, cooked turnips and turnip greens, all characters of salads - especially as of water cress, mustard and the like; these especially taken raw, though turnips cooked - but cooked in their own juices and NOT with fat meats.

  12. Do these and we will find we will make the better conditions for this body of [1968].

  13. Ready for questions.

  14. (Q) Should I continue any of the treatments previously outlined for me? (A) The rubs, of course, are always well; but more particularly now the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments, as we have indicated, and at least once a month the full hydrotherapy treatment - these would be the main ones.

  15. (Q) What is the present condition of my thyroid and adrenal glandular circulation, and what should be done for it? (A) These are improved, but there is a lack of calcium in the system, which may be supplied with keeping these foods as indicated.

Occasionally, say for five days out of each month, take small quantities of the Atomidine; one drop in half a glass of water each morning before breakfast, - this consecutively for

five days, though, instead of skipping about. Do this regularly, each month, but not oftener than five days in each

month.

  1. (Q) How can I raise my vitality? (A) By doing the things was we have indicated here.

  2. (Q) Were the chiropractic treatments harmful or beneficial? (A) Part were beneficial, part not so good.

  3. (Q) What doctor should administer the osteopathic treatments? (A) As we find, we would have at least one adjustment here - through such as Richardson; and have the suggestions written to such an one as would be recommended in the area where the body resides.

  4. (Q) What causes undue moisture in my ears and what should be done about it? (A) The poor circulation, or coordination in the circulation; and the full adjustments from the upper dorsal to the sacral, and through the sacral and then coordinating the cervical, will coordinate these impulses.

  5. (Q) Am I working too hard for my health? (A) If the body imagines that it is working too hard, it’s working awfully hard! but if you will make play of the work, that as of an opportunity, it’s not so hard!

  6. (Q) Is it time for my glasses to be changed? (A) Do not change until after at least ten days following the completing of the adjustments. These we find would then be better.

Do these and keep the mental attitude in that of making each day, each association, each activity a worth while experience; not merely for self but let each activity be with

an eye purposefulness to being helpful to someone.

  1. We are through for the present.
