This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of August, 1930, in accordance with request made by self - through Dr. Lydic.

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. L. B. Cayce and W. L. Evans.]

Time of Reading 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ohio. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2], and those conditions as surround the body - the emanations of those of the physical resistances, of the physical weaknesses, as manifested. In some manners we find little change in the general conditions. While the drainages are not set up sufficient that there may be an excess elimination of poisons, we may not expect the replenishing or rebuilding forces to create new energies as will relieve those pressures in the sensory system, or to the central nerve system of head, throat and neck. These are much of in a standstill. While there are seemingly some improvements at times; at others there are indications of accumulations, and that the excesses are not being removed. We would have more of that as has been given for the setting up of the eliminations through drainages in system, through the cleansing of the whole system. We will find that, would the changes not be made as for the surroundings, those of the baths as may be given - through that of the sweat baths, or of the Turkish baths, with the rub downs following same - would be well; but we would NOT have the salt glow with same, under these environs or conditions, for they would not be the most beneficial; though under some other surroundings these might be made very beneficial, but would necessarily be from FUMES that carry other principles in their active forces on the capillary circulation.

  2. In the manipulations, these should be made more for drainages to the system, so that there may not be pressures on the nerves of the head, neck, and face. Ready for questions.

  3. (Q) What is cause of distress in stomach area? (A) The diets, while are very good - the activities of the system, as to the relation of assimilation, are not kept in accord WITH that as is being treated FOR. Hence the changes. The changes, as will be found by the manipulations come WITH the Turkish baths, these will be helpful to the condition also. Do not over eat. Do not under eat, either - for this will create for an unbalancing of the digestive fluids. Well that small quantities of pepsins - lactated pepsin - be taken for the digestive system. This may be taken, a few drops after each meal. This will prove beneficial, as will the irrigations - or colonics.

  4. (Q) Do glasses need changing? (A) We would use those of the glasses as are for the correction of vision, by CHARGING same in the sunlight, see? We would not change the GLASSES, so far as those that are ORDINARILY used, as yet - for it would necessitate, with corrective measures, that they be changed too soon again.

  5. (Q) Can treatments be carried on to advantage at home? (A) Not so much to advantage, but the mental - as well as the physical - must be conceded to, or active with that desire in the general physical forces of body.

  6. We are through with this reading.
