This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of May, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Dr. [200].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now, we find there are some abnormal conditions in the functioning of the organs in this body, and these may be corrected by giving to the system that full incentive of functioning and by creating in the system those elements necessary to combat those conditions that are nor produced by an unbalanced condition in the blood stream, that causes this condition in the tissue, where the distresses show at times in the functioning in system.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below the normal in the elements of proper rebuilding. There are those elements that are necessary for cellular rebuilding. There are also those elements that hinder the rebuilding in various portions, and the variation in the effect as is produced shows something of the nature of the disturbance, for this, as we see, brings those destructive forces, especially in those of the glands of the system that are called ductless gland, and with the system carrying those rebuilding and rejuvenating forces as it does, through the diet and through the conditions as applied to the nerve system, normal, this brings the change in effect of this condition in the system, causing the distress, and this is sometimes termed in the system as that of a catarrhal condition, and this produces, then, congestion, when the system becomes taxed in any manner, especially through that of cold or of an overtaxed physical vitality - that is, any physical strain will cause the disturbance as is seen, either for the intestinal system, through the mesenteric system, or the strain MENTAL will cause disturbance through throat and bronchials, and the digestion at times becomes the disturbing center, principally THEN through the action of the system as towards any anger created for the system, and the system then suffers in the same manner as from other taxations, for all these conditions bring to the functioning system those increased numbers of poisons for the system. Then, the body being in that condition of incapable to cope with this increased number of destructive forces, brings the conditions in the system, or these become such as outnumber the normal rebuilding. Hence the conditions as ensue.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find in that condition of being, as would be commonly called, always ready to be on edge, and this is produced by this strain and the inability of the body to meet the condition within its own system a worry produced, see?

6. In the physical functioning of the organs, these, except under strain, are very good. Hence we would say, we have no organic disturbances or functional troubles, save when these become disturbed through this increase of the number of destructive forces in the lymphatic and in the blood circulation, see?

7. Then, to overcome these conditions, we would not change those conditions as have been given to the body from time to time, but keep those in the normal way and manner, in diet, and in electrical vibration, especially that of the static nature. We would add those vibrations of an electronic nature, as will be found in the Radio-Active Appliance, with the use of that pad or that anode to the central portion of body carrying (alternate these) that of Spirits of Camphor one day, and that of Chloride of Gold the next. See? This should then be attached to the wrist with the Camphor, to the ankle with the Gold; the center or larger plate being attached to the umbilicus, or just to the RIGHT, with the Gold, and to the left and below with the Camphor. Keep this only one hour and thirty minutes each evening, alternating Gold and the Camphor; with the diet and with the forces as have been applied, and we will find this will create the equilibrium necessary through the vibrations as are created in the system; from those properties of Camphor for the healing in the mesenteric and in the functioning of gland; Gold in the stimulation to the gland functioning and to the rejuvenation of the cell BUILDING centers that are built within the division of blood cell in spleen, brain, and in the lacteal ducts. Do that.

R1. 5/20/26 EC wrote telling her that she could obtain the Appliance from Mr. Thos. B. Brown, % Brookins Mfg. Co., Dayton, Ohio, saying “Let us hear from you from time to time. We would be glad to check up on the results you are getting after you have tried this for a few weeks.”

R2. GD’s note: We did not hear from her again, and Mr. Brown did not hear from her about the Appliance, so evidently she did not follow the treatment.

B1. 4/12/26 She wrote: “I have just finished reading your little booklet [given her by Dr. [4775]?], and I want to know something about your proposition with doctors, and in what way we could cooperate to get results.

“I myself have an abnormal condition which does not yield entirely to any treatment I ever had. My husband and I are drugless doctors [D.C.’s?]; have had success with outside patients, but my immediate family does not get very good results. I have three sisters and myself whom I would like to have a rdg.”
