This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 10th day of July, 1942, in accordance with request made by the father - Mr. [2841], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Conn.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2084], this we have had before.

3. As we find, conditions are very good considering all of the factors which have existed.

4. And as we find in the present, there only needs to be kept those precautions as to the diet; and the occasional - twice or three times a month - having of those osteopathic corrections which enable the body to keep those activities so that the kidneys stay clear.

5. Be mindful as to the diet.

6. Have plenty of exercise, though not of too severe a nature.

7. These as we find, kept in accord, should keep the body very good.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) In what way has her condition improved? (A) There is not as much trouble with the Periods, nor is there as much inflammation indicated in the kidney area.

10. (Q) Is she to have any treatment other than the osteopathic treatments? (A) And the diets that have been indicated. We would keep rather close to these, keeping down too much of the avoirdupois or the fat.

11. (Q) What about Atomidine? (A) This should be taken occasionally, but only for a few days at the time; about three to four days a month should be sufficient; unless the body is able to have a vacation near the seashore, when the Atomidine should be left off during such a period.

12. (Q) How about the Watermelon Seed Tea? (A) This should be taken about four or five days in succession during a month, but have a regular period each month to do this, see?

13. (Q) Should any change in diet be effected? (A) Just be mindful about not too much of sugars, and do keep the raw vegetables, AND the artichoke when this is practical.

14. (Q) Is Badminton injurious for her? (A) Rather helpful, if not overdone.

15. (Q) Any further advice? (A) These we would do.

I am going in to the Army next Tuesday so thought I had better drop you a note before I leave.

I am sending all of my patients to Dr. George N. Coulter (DR. GEORGE N. COULTER) 18 E 41st St., N.Y.C. I have gone over several readings with Dr. Coulter and he has promised me that he will follow the readings to the best of his ability. Dr. Coulter is a very fine man, a good osteopath and I am sure will cooperate with you if the readings say to use him.

The very best of luck & good health to you and your family Mr. Cayce and I am looking forward to being of some service to you on my return.

Will drop you a card when I get to camp.

Dear Dr. Dobbins;-

Thank you for yours of the 9th. Can well understand your wishing to do your part. May the Lord be with you where ever you go and bring you back safe to those who love you.

Thanks for remembering us - will write Dr. Coulter. Think there are several that he will have to look after - two check yesterday who were sent back to you.

All very well here - keeping quite busy. Have recently had recognition from The Still-Hildreth - am very glad of that, for the good that has been done for several there.

Dear Dr. [Capt.] Dobbins:-

Thanks for yours of the 27th. Can well imagine how you felt about the present emergency - and don’t wonder at you at all; however, am sure there were many that looked to you for a renewal of their hopes for health.

Trust however you will be able to serve God in all His Glory and the country with Honor - we are all counting on you for much.

All fairly well here - keeping busy and have heard from your friend in N.Y. - several have been sent to him of late.

Believe you will find the book of interest.

Dear Mr. Cayce:

[2084]‘s last reading we thought quite encouraging for which we are deeply thankful. I have been so busy and twice have been away so that I have not had the opportunity to write. I enclose my check for the reading.

Dr. Coulter has requested copies of all of [2084]‘s readings from the beginning. Mrs. Dobbins has those of Dr. Dobbins; but has gone away for the summer. Would you please have copies of [2084]‘s readings made up and sent to me and advise me what the cost is. [Sent 8/19/42, GD.] I shall immediately take them up with Dr. Coulter. I trust this finds you in excellent health and that we may have the pleasure of seeing you again before many months.

R6. 8/29/42 Mrs. [2678] requested a Physical Rdg. for Mr. [2841]. She also requested a Physical Rdg. for her mother, Mrs. [2808].

R7. 9/7/42 Father, [2841], wired asking that his appointment be given to [2084]: “Sudden chill and fever last night. Absence of Dr. Dobbins delayed treatment and have not begun with Coulter. Outline needed treatment in full including any change in diet and medication and osteopathic or other treatment. Writing. Regards. My appointment later.”
