GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2148]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, the body is developing very nominally.
-
There ARE those tendencies for the overfeeding of the body, and this - with the upsetting - has caused some disturbances with the assimilating system, by producing the superacid conditions and those attending conditions that arise from upsetting in the eliminations.
-
We find that as the foods are kept well balanced in the present, we would add just a few drops - two to three - of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin at the time of feeding; this when the heavier or the more quantity is given, - only about twice a day give this, in a little water at the time of feeding.
-
It is well also that occasionally, once or twice a week, there be given a few drops - two to three - of Glyco-Thymoline as an antiseptic for the intestines.
-
For the cold and congestion that is indicated as a part of the disturbance, massage along the spine and over the rib or the chest area with an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. Do this once or twice each week.
-
Do not allow the body to get too cold, nor too hot, when sleeping. Keep plenty of air in the room when sleeping and well covered.
-
Do these and we will find the body will develop along normal lines.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Is his diet correct? (A) As indicated, there has been the tendency to overfeed. Keep a well balanced diet.
-
(Q) Has this caused the vomiting? (A) As has been indicated.
-
(Q) Should he have Cod Liver Oil? (A) Through this season of the year it is well, but we would give it preferably in the form of the White’s Cod Liver Oil tablets, ground up or mashed and given with the food. Give one tablet about every other day.
-
(Q) Would it be alright for him to take the trip to California, starting next Tuesday - or would this be too much for him? (A) This would depend upon how well there is the care, or how care is taken during the trip, and how it is made. We find that this would not be hard, if the corrections are made and care taken in the manner indicated, especially in the feeding and in the manner of sleeping, during such a trip.
-
We are through for the present.
