GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
Now, we find there are abnormal conditions that to the body are normal. There are abnormal conditions for the body that may be corrected, that all the physical forces in body may function the more normal. These of the abnormal that have become normal are of the structural portion of the body, and may have been corrected, were it taken in time, by the lengthening of the bone. Now this may not be done.
-
In the functioning of the organs we find the distress that causes the greater trouble to the body. This produced by the inability of the body to assimilate and eliminate properly. This producing, by the toxins left in system from these conditions, those distresses to the organs, as well as that condition wherein the blood supply is in that condition of being overcharged with that bacilli that produces the condition in the centers about the locomotaries, and the action of same is to produce contraction in the muscular forces. Combined then with the condition in the intestinal system, and the indigestion as produced, gives distresses throughout the system.
-
The teeth need correction first.
-
In correcting that condition in the digestive system, we would take internally those properties as would bring about the near coordination of the assimilating and eliminating system. Prepared, then, as this:
-
To one (1) gallon of rain water, we would add:
Wild Cherry Bark…4 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root…2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root…2 ounces, Burdock Root…2 ounces, Black Snake Root, or Black Root…1 ounce, Elder Flower…4 ounces, Mandrake Root…20 grains, Buchu Leaves…40 grains, Peruvian Bark…1/2 ounce.
Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to one (1) quart. Strain while warm and add three (3) drams Balsam of Tolu cut in four (4) ounces of grain alcohol.
-
The dose would be teaspoonful four (4) times each day.
-
Be more careful of the diet, taking very little meats in the system. Rather those of vegetable nature.
-
Keep the intestinal tract open.
-
Keep the body full in water - the body doesn’t drink sufficient water. Use plenty of water, then, inside and out, keeping the body in irritation, or eliminations through the capillary circulation by often rubbing the spine, that the eliminations may be set up through these centers.
-
With the correction of these conditions, we will find we will add to the abilities in locomotion, through the massage as would be set up by rubbing briskly with coarse towel after bath the whole length of the spine.
-
Do this, and we will find we will bring better conditions for this body, [216].
-
We are through for the present.

Background
B1. 10/19/26 She wrote: “I got your name from a friend, and I will be so glad to hear if you can help me. I have tried everything and doctors all over the U.S.A. but haven’t got any help from any of them. My trouble seems to be weakness of the spinal cord and I have no muscle. So, if you can do me any good I will do what you say.”
B2. 11/29/26 She verified appointment, saying: “I am so sorry I can’t send any bigger offering [$1.00] but my husband is so against me to try anything like this I can not let him know it, so this is all I can get at once. I do hope you will take up my troubles and see what can be done, as I have a terrible life to live by being a cripple - everything is against me.” [Atrophy, progressive muscular?]
