This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of September, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [2186], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Virginia.
-
GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes - we have the body here, [2186]; this we have had before.
-
As we find, conditions are not so good with this body. These are the warnings that should be taken into consideration, - not to become overanxious, provided there is a consistent effort to meet the situations as arise.
-
In the present we find there is a tendency towards a VERY low vitality. This is produced by there having been the infection of tubercle through the body.
-
While the activities in those periods when more of the violet ray was to be had, from the activities of the sun upon the body, have repelled the infectious force, we find that the drosses of same have not been eliminated from the system.
-
Thus, as might be said, the body is carrying destroyed and destructive forces in the circulation, which makes for the condition in the lungs where there is the feeling as if a portion of the lungs were in a capsule, as it were, or being pressed in.
-
There are those feelings of over-exaltation, at times; and then there are those very depressing feelings; with the little ability of the body to at all times fully assimilate the foods taken.
-
And there is a poor digestions; consequently there is a poor elimination at most times.
-
There are those periods when there is an overexcitedness in those parts of the body, when the body sleeps or rests at night.
-
All of these become a part of the conditions to be met.
-
As we find, these would be the precautions:
-
First, be very careful not to be overexposed, especially in night air, nor to take cold.
-
Hence those outlines as may be indicated for the diet to keep a well balance, to prevent overacidity.
-
And good eliminations must be established.
-
Do not get the feet wet; that is, as in dampness or the like. Not that there shouldn’t be baths or like that, but getting wet from rain or remaining with the feet damp or the like. Be sure these are well protected at all times.
-
We would take plenty of milk, - malted milk as well as fresh milk.
-
Eat plenty of chicken, especially the bony pieces, that there may be the chewing of the ends of such pieces; as the neck, thigh, feet, or such portions of same, that are well cooked; not too much in grease, but as roasted, broiled, baked or the like, or smothered.
-
At least three times a week take CALCIOS, about the quantity as would be spread lightly on a whole wheat cracker.
-
Each day, only in raw milk, take half a teaspoonful of ACIGEST - stirred in a glass or tumbler or raw milk. Drink this preferably in the evenings; preferably when the milk is still fresh, even with the body heat from the cow in same. Take only in raw milk. Do not take in that which has been sterilized or boiled or the like.
-
These (the Calcios and Acigest) are to prevent the destructive forces. While they are allayed, they may become alive by settling in portions of the organs, - as the liver, the digestive system or the kidneys, or the circulation between same (affecting the heart); or they may be carried, of course, as they are, back through the lung circulation also - and might become active there again.
-
If we will do these, however, we should make for bettered conditions.
-
Do prepare an inhalant for the throat, the lungs, and the nasal passages, - now prepared in this manner:
-
To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, add - in the order named:
Oil of Eucalyptus…20 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin…15 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp…5 minims, Canadian Balsam…10 minims.
-
This would preferably be put in a large-mouth bottle, in which there may be two vents through the corks in same, and these so they may be kept tight to prevent evaporation. When ready to use, shake well and inhale the fumes; using at least two to three times a day. These vents should not go into the solution. Hence it should be about an eight ounce bottle, see. Inhale the fumes into the lungs as well as into the nasal passages, you see.
-
Follow the diet and the activities indicated. Keep in the open as much as practical, but do keep the feet dry and the body warm; not overheated, to be sure, but warm - if we would bring better forces for this body of [2186].
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What is cause of frequent headaches, and how may they be overcome? (A) The pressures as produced by the poisons through the system, and lack of proper eliminations.
-
(Q) What causes my left ear to ache much of the time, and what should be done for it? (A) The conditions as arise in the soft tissue of face, neck and head, and the inhalations; and the rubbing of same gently with a good skin oil, - as peanut oil or olive oil, or the equal combination of these, around the neck, will be beneficial.
Do these things as indicated, if we would bring the better forces for this body.
Be warned of what you have to deal with. Be precautious, but don’t be overheated. And DO be consistent.
- We are through with this Reading.

Both Acigest and Calcios are manufactured by Colloidal Health Products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, Long Island, N.Y. The Acigest is hydrochloric acid in the form of easily assimilated, selling for 1 a bottle. Calcios is a syrupy paste that, according to the Readings, is the best way of assimilating free calcium, and sells for 2.50 a jar.)

She went home and got her last Rdg. out and the rdg. was a warning more than anything else and just what the Rdg. said would happen is what Dr. T. told her. You should have heard Nonie bawl her out.
