GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Now, we find there are those conditions with this body that may be corrected, and through such corrections the body would function the more normal.
-
The distressing conditions that are brought to the body through the sensory nerve system are produced by pressure as is seen in the 4th, 5th, and 6th dorsal, and in the 12th dorsal and 2nd and 3rd lumbar. The effect is then produced through the various nerve plexus as are brought into work in the various cycles of the functioning of the liver, spleen, digestive system, and the kidneys, and the pressure produced through such reaction in the hypogastric plexus disturbs both that of the system in the cardiac plexus and the reaction to the brain. Hence the distress to the eyes at times, and the headaches. These are reflex conditions.
-
In the system, then, these conditions need the correction, and we would have this correction made in the osteopathic manner. These pressures removed, and with the nerve system and blood supply stimulated with those vibrations from the Alpine Ray, would bring the nearer normal conditions for this body, [2266].
-
Do that.

We are through for the present.

Dear Sir
In answer to this letter I must say I had already been to Dr. Percy Woodall for two months some time before writing you but he did not help me any.
Yours Respect
R2. 5/27/27 EC’s ltr. to [2266]:
Mr. [2266] …, Alabama
Dear Mr. [2266]
Replying to yours of May 16th, I thank you very much for the report. Apparently, you have been unable to get anything from he [the] information that was given you.
Now, in respect to referring you to the osteopath, when you had already tried this treatment without success: I would like to tell you of an experience that I had in Birmingham very similar to yours. A lady came to me for a reading. The reading gave that she should have certain kind of treatment by the osteopath. When I awoke from the reading and asked her concerning the condition, she said: “Mr. Cayce, practically everything you have told me I know, and I have been taking the osteopathic treatments until a few weeks ago, the osteopath himself told me he didn’t think he was doing any good.” I asked her to take the reading back to the osteopath and ask him if he had been treating her in the manner suggested in the reading. He told her he could do it, and proceed to give her treatments along those lines, with very, very wonderful results.
Now, I believe, Mr. [2266] you are doing yourself and injustice in not following the same line of procedure. However, as you know from the little pamphlet you have read concerning my work, unless an individual is able to apply the information given TO THEMSELVES, it doesn’t become valuable at all - but I wish you would take your reading to Dr. Woodall, ask him what he thinks of it. He knows your case, and he can see the difference - if there is any - in the way the treatments are to be accorded, and I’m sure he will do it, or he will tell you wherein there are no differences. And I shall appreciate it if you will let me know what he says. Thank you.
Yours very sincerely,
EC:GD
