This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 1st day of March, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [227].

1. EC: Now, we find there are conditions in this body that to the body become at times abnormal, and produce abnormal functioning of organs in the system; yet we find little in the organs of organic conditions, that only of the functioning of them. In the elimination in the circulation do we find these conditions.

2. Now, these conditions as we find them in this body [227], we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this very good in the general way. There are times, as we shall see, that the circulation becomes affected by conditions that arise, and the heart forces and its circulation become involved, though not of organic trouble in either. The blood carries the bacilli or the effect of bacilli, as is shown, in the system. Rather that of toxins, except at times when portions of the system become involved in poor elimination, or when congestion through nerve reaction produces specific conditions and the blood supply becomes involved.

4. As to the pressure, normal at present, subnormal at other times, again above normal when the stress comes to lung force in spasmodic or asthmatic conditions as arise at times.

5. IN THE NERVE FORCES, we find as these:

6. The whole nerve system, as a whole, very good. Conditions arise at time where centers become involved, and have their effect on the functioning of organs, as we have in the seventh dorsal region, that affecting the circulation, the lungs proper and the secondary cardiac plexus, and the vibration or palpitation of the heart affected at such times. This, we see, becomes then the center, or one of those involved in the conditions to be corrected. Also those in the second lumbar plexus, where kidneys are involved when poor elimination or undue strain is exercised upon these organs to carry the excess from the system, and at such times become overactive and others depressed: This being produced at times from nerve reaction and hindrance in incentive for such nerve ganglions to function properly. In the sympathetic nerve system, this only becomes overcharged at the reaction of such conditions, as we have in the sensory organism conditions arise where all of the organs of sensory system become involved at times. The vision, the hearing, the sense of smell and the extra secretions to the throat at times are manifestations of this taxing of sympathetic nerve system from organs attempting to adjust themselves in their proper functioning.

7. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain force very good.

8. In the organs of the sensory system reaction, as we have given.

9. In throat, lungs, larynx and bronchials we find with this pressure or lesion at seventh dorsal the excess through sympathetic to the throat, larynx and bronchials, and the asthmatic effect to lung cell, though not organic condition in either of these.

10. Heart action depressed at such times, and with stimulation to throw off secretions as form brings higher circulation and taxation to the organ, though no organic condition.

11. Digestive tract we find with this pressure in the secondary cardiac region the nerves and the ganglia and tissue of the cardiac end of stomach become involved, so that taking certain foods and at different times different foods affect this nerve condition, and the lung force, though not a condition of the digestion, but the action of these in system, producing the reaction as given in nerve, for the sympathetic and the pneumogastric become involved in this condition.

12. Digestion in lower portion better than ordinarily found in such conditions, though liver becomes congested and gives the greater stress on the system. Very good at present time.

13. In hepatic circulation, with the strain on liver and kidneys, the taxing becomes the greater.

14. RELIEF, to give then the relief to this body, and to bring the normal functioning to the system, we would, with exercise or manipulation osteopathic?], or both, adjust this condition in dorsal and lumbar region.

15. Take in the system in this manner those properties as found in Calcidin, taking one tablet dissolved in hot water once every other day, preferably in evening. When condition becomes overtaxed, or when the body is under strain, these may be taken oftener. The exercise would be for the upper portion of the body, or by manipulation by the removing through the manipulation and adjusting conditions in the dorsal and lumbar region.

16. This will remove this strain on the body, and give many, many years of usefulness, and will relieve from these spasmodic conditions in lungs and in elimination.
